-7-BULK PICKUP INFORMATION
Bulk Pickup is once a month either on a Thursday or Friday. Your designated bulk
pick up day is located in the Zone Schedule pages 9-10 and at www.wallnj.com via
the interactive map. The purpose of Bulk Pickup is for the convenience of the Wall
Township Residents. There is a 10 item limit for each bulk pickup.
Items permitted for curbside bulk pickup include: Furniture, up to 3 mattresses and box
springs, 1 window, 1 door, 1 room of carpeting, metal, patio/lawn furniture, grills
(propane tank removed) and household appliances such as a Dishwasher, Washing
Machine, Dryer, Oven/Stove, Microwave and Window AC Unit. Freon units, such
a Refrigerators – require a $15 fee which must be paid prior to the bulk pickup. This
fee can be brought to either Township Recycling Center or the Public Works Office.
Items NOT permitted for curbside bulk pickup include: Wooden sheds, wood
playgrounds, decks, tires, items considered construction debris and building material
(more than 1 door, 1 window, kitchen cabinets, sheetrock, lumber, etc.)
No Electronics!
Combustible materials (gas mower, snow blower etc.) are
NOT permitted for curbside bulk pickup.
Recyclable Materials are NOT considered Bulk, such as large cardboard boxes. These
items must be brought to either Township Recycling Center.

(and use this schedule)
Remove the center sheet from this booklet (pages 9-10). Locate your street
from the list (pages 11-15), which is in alphabetical order, and take notice of
the coinciding ZONE. On the sheet with the schedule, locate the schedule
that matches your ZONE and follow the schedule for all of your curbside
collections for the year, including leaf, brush, trash, recycling and bulk
collection. Make sure to reference the Holiday Schedule on page 3 because
those days will affect your collection days.

HYDRANT FLUSHING
Wall Township’s annual flushing of fire hydrants removes minerals
and sediment that build up over time and ensures that all fire
hydrants are in good working order.
Low pressure, discoloration or cloudiness are possible following
hydrant flushing in your area. Generally, this will clear up by
running cold water for several minutes. Although the water is
safe to use during this time, residents should refrain from doing
laundry when water is discolored and avoid running hot water,
as mineral sediments can accumulate in your water heater.
Work will be conducted Monday through Friday from 8:00pm to
1:00am. See the street by street listing on page 17-18.

Please be advised that all Wall Township residents are required to have
a Wall Township Recycling Sticker on their vehicle in order to access the
Township recycling centers.
Rules & Regulations:
• I n order to receive a sticker you must complete this form.
•A copy of your driver’s license verifying your Wall Township address and vehicle registration are re-
quired for each car sticker.
• This form can be mailed in to the Public Works Department, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall
Township, NJ 07719. When mailing the form, please provide a self addressed stamped
envelope. This form can also be dropped off at the Public Works Building main office at
2301 Tiltons Corner Road between 7:00am and 3:00pm.
• Once
you receive the sticker, it must be placed on the back of your rearview mirror.
•N o commercial vehicles are authorized to receive a sticker.
