Upon its incorporation as a borough in 1894, the governing body at that time recognized the need to
establish such public services as may be required of any growing community. Among those was a Public

Midland Park Ambulance
On March 1, 1942, a group of 18 dedicated men joined together and started the Midland Park Community
Ambulance. Now 78 years later your Midland Park Ambulance Corps is staffed with 20 professionally
trained New Jersey State Department of Health certified Emergency Medical Technicians and 5 Drivers.
The Midland Park Ambulance Corps has two ambulances and a mass casualty trailer unit. We are ready to
respond to emergencies in Midland Park and provide mutual aid to surrounding towns.

The Weekly Update, an e-mail newsletter CERT is a very integral support group for first responders such as Police, Fire, & EMS. They are a resource
