SCHOOL-AGE SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION AND POLICIES
                                         Deposits & Weekly Payments
All School-Age Summer Camps utilize a deposit system for weekly enrollments. This enables
campers to ‘reserve their spot’ each week they want to attend. A non-refundable, non-
transferable deposit of $10 per child, per week of camp is required to secure your registration.
The deposit will be applied toward the weekly camp fee. Deposits cannot be applied to daily rates.
Daily camp registrations (available only at REC Camp) must be paid in full at the time of
                                         registration.

Each week’s balance is due the Thursday prior to the start of the week. Balance payments must be
paid in full before dropping off your child on Monday morning.

NEW! Payments may be made online or at the Park Office.

Transfer Policy - A transfer from one week to another is contingent upon the availability of spots within
the desired week. Campers on the waiting list will be prioritized based upon the enrollment date of
the transfer. Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable and will be forfeited if changing
weeks. REC Camp daily transfers will be charged a $5 transfer fee for each day and each child
                                         changed.

Waitlist Policy - There is no fee to be placed on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available for a
program, the participant or parent/guardian that is at the top of the waitlist will be contacted via
telephone and/or email. The participant or parent/guardian will have 24 hours from the time of
the call/email to respond to the Park Office. If a deposit is not made within the given timeline, the
participant or parent/guardian next on the waitlist will be contacted via telephone and/or email.

RENTALS AND EVENTS IN THE PARKS
Park shelters and designated areas within the parks are available to Brown Township residents, non-residents and organizations for
reservation when not in conflict with public activities. All reservations must be made by the Park Office staff. Larger events may need to
apply for a special event permit. Commercial profit-generating events are not permitted. A reservation does not allow for private use of
the entire park since the parks are intended for the enjoyment of everyone; however, shelter rentals are available for private rental.

Park restrooms are open from the 2nd week of April through the 1st week of November, weather permitting.
*Restrooms located at Pioneer Park Shelter #7 (soccer fields) are heated and open year-round.

Alcohol use is prohibited in all parks and shelters. All parks are tobacco-free.

Playing fields are maintained and scheduled through contracted youth sport organizations.

    ARE YOU AWARE?
Agencies around Indiana and beyond have been battling invasive species and the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) for almost a decade.
Insects and diseases are always a constant threat to our community. The Mooresville Park District actively treats invasive species and
has been working on eliminating Ash trees affected with EAB.

    HELP US MAINTAIN YOUR PARKS
Although crews inspect park sites on a regular basis, litter or vandalism may occur, or additional maintenance may be necessary
between visits. The next time you visit one of the parks and notice anything that needs attention, please report to the Park Office at
    (317) 831-7149.
