2021 YMCA at Pabst Farms

Facility The YMCA at Pabst Farms’ competitive pool is an eight lane,
25-yard course with 30” starting blocks and a starting end
depth of 10’. The pool is equipped with 7’ lanes and features
a Superior Swim Timing system with Colorado Touch Pads
and an eight lane LED Scoreboard. There will be a lane for
warmup and warm down in the adjacent warm water
therapy pool during the competition portion of the meet.
The hot tub will be closed to all meet participants. We ask
that all people attending the meet enter the Y though the
West entrance. If the west of our parking lot is full, please
feel free to use Summit Elementary School for overflow.
Timing All events will be timed finals. Superior Swim Timing Version
7, automatic timing and 2 stopwatches will be used for each
lane. Hytek meet management software 7.0 will be used to
run the meet.
Rules Official Short Course USA Swimming Rules and Wisconsin
Swimming Rules shall govern the conduct of this meet.
Swimmers entered into the meet must be registered as
YMCA swimmers.
Please notify the meet director and meet referee for any
special requirements for swimmers with special needs on
the entry form.

Entry Limit Swimmers may compete in a maximum of 5 individual
events per day plus relays.
Entry Deadline Monday October 18, 2021, 12:00 pm
Fees Individual: $4.00
Relay Team: $10.00
Facility Fee: $2.00
Admissions: $5.00
*Each swimmer will be charged the $5.00 as of now we do
not have a restriction on number of spectators, which could
change due to COVID protocols*

Deck Entries Deck entries will be allowed subject to meet director
approval and only to fill empty lanes in an event. Deck
entries must be accompanied by a cash payment of $8.00
per individual event and $15.00 per relay.
Warmups AM Session Open
• Warmups: 7:00 am
• Meet starts: 8:10 am
PM Session 12 & Under
• Warm-Ups: Immediately following conclusion of AM
Session
• Meet Start: 65 minutes after start of Warmups not
before 12:00
Specific Warmups will be emailed out by 10/20/21
Additional warm up sessions and breaks will be determined
after entries are received. Estimated meet timeline will be
sent out via email, as soon as it is available. Feet first three-
point entries from the starting end of the pool during general
warmups will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved
competition.Seeding All events will be seeded slow to fast except the 11 & Over 1650
and 12 & Under 500 Free. 11 & Over 1650 and 12 & Under 500
will be seeded fast to slow alternating women/men. Positive
check in will be required for these events
Heat sheets will be digitally distributed on the meet landing
page as well as posted for free on meet mobile. There will
be no hard copy heat sheets at the meet.
Timers Any parent from visiting teams willing to time for the session
will have the $5.00 admission fee sent back to their team.

Concessions COVID protocol pending
Results Final results will be emailed to all competing teams and
posted on the YMCA at Pabst Farms Swim Team website.
Conduct All clubs will be responsible for the conduct of their own
swimmers. Only coaches, swimmers, officials, and meet
workers are allowed on deck. The hot tub is off limits to
swim meet participants.
Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell
phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or
locker rooms. Deck changes are prohibited.
Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is
prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas,
spectator areas and open-ceiling locker rooms) any time
athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.

Relays: 1-3 ribbons
High Point: 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15 & Over

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I/we hereby, for myself/ourselves,
my/our heirs, administrators and assigns, waive and release any and all claims
against USA Swimming, Wisconsin Swimming, Inc., the YMCA at Pabst Farms, The
YMCA at Pabst Farms Swim Team and its Swim Team Committee and all other staff
for injuries and/or expenses incurred by me/us at the meet, or while on the road to
and from the meet. It is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free
from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone
during the conduct of the event.

It is recommended that those who are not fully vaccinated remain masked while in the facility. We will do our best to stage and keep swimmers as separate as possible during the meet.
