DELEGATES
July 2018 saw the region’s brewing community converge on
Manila for SEA Brew, the must-attend beer industry event of the
year. Following previously successful shows in Singapore and Ho
Chi Minh City, this 4th edition of the annual conference & trade
fair once again witnessed an increase in delegate attendance and
exhibitors, reflecting the growth of the region’s brewing industry.
The two day conference featured keynote presentations from John
Palmer (Palmer Brewing Solutions, US), Mikkel Mikkel Borg Bjergsø

(Mikkeller, Den.), Rohit Dugar (Young Master Brewery, HK) &
Felix Burberg (Krones, Ger.) as well as other respected members
of the international brewing community. Interactive workshops
SPEAKERS were delivered by ingredients and equipment companies and open
forums encouraged the discussion of common industry issues and
topics.
Running concurrent to the conference was the SEA Brew Trade
Fair. This year saw a 100% increase in the number exhibitors
compared to 2017, as more industry suppliers react to the rapidly
expanding Southeast Asian brewing market. On display were the

latest technological innovations in equipment and ingredients from
suppliers looking to gain or develop their foothold in the region.
EXHIBITORS The well attended evening networking events ensured the business
continued well after the conference doors had closed for the day.
