1 Pretoria Mont D’Or Bohemian BB
OR Tambo Airport – Centurion 60km approximately 1 hour
Arrive at OR Tambo Airport and collect your rental car. You will be staying at Mont D’Or Bohemian
close to Waterkloof. Centrally located for your drive up north tomorrow.
Situated high on the Ridge in Waterkloof, Pretoria, you will find this luxury and intimate guesthouse.
Enjoy the art and artefacts collected from around the globe. All modern facilities are available,
including a fully-licensed honesty bar.Gourmet dinners are also available on request.
2 & 3 Tzaneen / Magoebaskloof Kings Walden BB
Centurion - Tzaneen 390km approximately 4 to 5 hours
After breakfast you will travel to Tzaneen, situated in the beautiful green area of Magoebaskloof.
Come and enjoy the incredible mountain views when staying at Kings Walden. The country gardens
of this chic accommodation are famous. It is a century old heritage home. Kings Walden combines
international excellence and African warmth and legend in a spectacular mountain setting.
There are many things to do in this area from adrenaline activities to the visit of the “Big Baobab”
in Modjadjiskloof or visit The Coach House Nougat Factory… handmade biscuits, nougat and brittle

4&5 Klaserie Game Reserve nThambo Tree Camp FI
Tzaneen – Klaserie Game Reserve 160km approximately 2 to 3 hours
Are you ready to go on safari? You will be travelling to the Klaserie Private Game Reserve part of
the Greater Kruger National Park.
Experience a Kruger Safari at nThambo Tree Camp and stay in unique accommodation in the heart
of the Klaserie. The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is part of the Greater Kruger and shares
unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park. It is here that guests can take part in Big Five
game drive safaris.
The Klaserie also boasts a plethora of interesting birdlife and is a haven for bird-watchers. nThambo
Tree Camp has only 5 chalets that sleep 2 people each, which creates an intimate and personal
safari experience. The accommodation is unique with bedrooms at eye-level with the trees, offering
a different perspective from the private balconies. There is an outdoor lounge and dining area,
under thatch, that offers guests beautiful views of the plain and small waterhole in front of camp, as
well as the Drakensberg mountain range in the distance. A pool and deck with sun loungers and
umbrellas completes the main area and offers a refreshing spot to relax all year round. A traditional

Klaserie Game Reserve - Hazyview 125km approximately 2 hours
After a last safari activity in the morning and a good breakfast you will be travelling in southerly
direction towards Hazyview. Your home for the next two nights will be Hippo Hollow Country Estate.
Only ten minutes from the world famous Kruger National Park (Phabeni Gate), Hippo Hollow offers
comfortable accommodation set within tranquil indigenous gardens just outside Hazyview, the

Hazyview – Swaziland 285km approximately 3 to 4 hours
Travel south and cross the border into Swaziland.
Enjoy the day in Swaziland. Visit the arts and crafts markets in the Ezilwini Valley and Malkerns,

You leave the Kingdom of Swaziland and drive further south towards the coast of Maputaland. The
next two days will be filled with fun on the beach and in the forest!

Dolphin Coast – Durban Airport 30km approximately ½ hours
George Airport – Plettenberg Bay 95km approximately 1 to 2 hours
You will travel the short distance to Durban Airport. Drop off your car and take your flight to George
(own arrangements).
Here you will pick up your new rental car and travel to Plettenberg Bay, centrally located on the
well-known Garden Route.
Visiting Plettenberg Bay at any time of the year offers amazing ocean wildlife adventures. But none
more spectacular than the months the Southern Right whale visits the quiet bay to nurture their
young before migrating. During this time, going whale watching is an exhilarating experience. Learn
more about these majestic animals and other animals in the region on an ocean safari or get up
close and personal in a sea-kayaking trip.
If you love hiking, the Garden Route is definitely the place you need to visit. In the area there are
many different hiking trails to take advantage of from easy for beginners, to difficult for more
experienced hikers. The Robberg Nature Reserve is famous for its beautiful walks and amazing
views.
Spend some time in Knysna as well. Knysna is a paradise of lush, indigenous forests, lakes and
beaches. Nestled on the banks of a beautiful lagoon. The small town has an interesting selection
of craft shops, markets and cosy cafés and restaurants.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that you arrange your own travel insurance. Not only for your own peace of mind,
but also to cover you in the event of possible tour cancellation, emergency evacuation, medical and
repatriation expenses as well damage/loss/theft of your personal belongings, camera equipment,
money and the like.
Contact Detail
It is important that you give me contact detail of your next of kin or a friend whom I could contact in the
event of an emergency. This detail you can give me on the Booking Form that I will forward to you.
Passports/Visas/Vaccinations
Please note that Africa Tours and Safaris cannot be held responsible for any of the above.
Passports need to be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure (the date you end your
holiday) from Namibia/Botswana etc.
Traveling with minors - for parents travelling with children under the age of 18 into or out of South
Africa, Namibia or Botswana - you need to have the child’s full un-abridged birth certificate with you.

Please check on the internet or an Embassy whether you require a VISA to be arranged in advance
or whether you can obtain it at point of entry. In some cases, it can take up to 3 months for Visas
to be issued so please do not leave this to the last minute. Please note that we cannot arrange
Visas from our side as the application requires your signature as well as the actual passport to be
endorsed.
The same applies to any possible vaccinations. Your doctor should be able to advise you.

Satellite phones are available for rental so if required, please request one when making your

Bag types and sizes for local flights: bags to be soft type as luggage bays of small aircraft cannot
hold large hard shell bags. If bag sizes and weights do not comply, extra charges could incur
Luggage weight limitation is vital for your own safety. If luggage weight exceeds limits, some
luggage will be unpacked and extra costs could incur
Stick to speed limits as speeding is not only breaking the law, but also negates/cancels any
insurance claims and should there be an accident, you will be liable for 100% of repair costs
