RING QUIET TIME
There will be quiet time in the main arena for one hour follow-
ing the morning session Wednesday through Saturday. Please
respect your fellow exhibitors and adhere to this quiet time.
Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized
vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle
of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility
vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid
temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they
are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or
individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized
vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or
actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against
those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility
assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials
and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including
but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition
grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there
is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or
individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in
violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other
mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
5FEDERATION MEMBERHSIP STATEMENT
Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to
participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing
Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined
Driving Competitions, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions
and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler,
rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular
Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions,
Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon
payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes
are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline;
2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members;
5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR222) and academy
classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly
in a lesson program); 6) USDFintroductory level tests, pas de deux
and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8)
Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in
English, of current membership in good standing of their own
National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11)
assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
ATTENTION COMPETITORS
Each competitor is responsible for supplying management
with safe sport certification and correct association numbers
(USEF, AMHA, ASHA) for horse, owner, rider, and trainer
before the day(s) of the show

TBA spots are available as indicated in the show schedule. Any
class recognized by the USEF in the Morgan, ASB or English
Pleasure division may be purchased.
$100 for regular classes, $150 for Championships or special
6RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and spec-
ifications of the current Federation Rule Book will be conducted and
judged in accordance therewith.
2. All Morgan horses shown at this show must be registered with the
American Morgan Horse Association, Inc., and must be entered under their
full registered name, or if under one year of age, be eligible for registration.
All American Saddlebred horses shown at this show must be registered with
the American Saddlebred Horse Association, and must be entered under
their full registered name. All classes listed in this prize list are restricted to
Morgan horses UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, OR UNLESS ENTERED
INEXCEPTIONAL CHALLENGE OR ACADEMY DIVISIONS ONLY.
3. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT: Life, senior active and junior

4. AMHA, ASHA & USEF membership cards must be presented at the Show
Secretary’s office. Please send copies of membership cards with your entries.
5. The USEF Show Pass Fee (non-member fee) is $45.00. The AMHA non-
member fee is $45.00. There is no non-member fee for ASHA – you MUST
be a member. The Federation Fee is $23.00 ($15.00 Equine Drugs &
Medication, $8.00 Federation).
6. Exhibitors must present each horse’s AMHA or ASHA Registration
Certificate or a photocopy of the original certificate at the Show Secre-
tary’s office. All Morgan horses must be made available for inspection by an
official designated by the AMHA.
77. Entries close April 1, 2021 No faxed entries will be accepted. There will
be a $30.00 post entry fee per horse on all entries POSTMARKED AFTER
April 1,2021 No post entry penalty fee for Championship classes. Entries
made the day of the show must made at least one hour prior to the start of
the session in which that class is to be held. The show office will close one
hour prior to each session to allow the Show Secretary time to print
class sheets. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE
START OF THE SESSION FOR THAT SESSION. SCRATCH
SHEETS WILL BE REQUIRED AND ARE AVAILABLE AT THE
SHOW SECRETARY’S OFFICE. NO REFUND FOR CLASSES
SCRATCHED AFTER THE START OF THE SESSION FOR THAT
SESSION. NO ENTRIES FOR DRESSAGE CLASSES WILL BE
ACCEPTED AFTER April 7, 2021
8. The use of attention getting devices will be enforced in accordance with
GR840.
9. The Entry Blank requires 3 mandatory signatures: Owner(s), agent or train-
er, and exhibitor. A coach’s signature is also required, if applicable. If own-
er or exhibitor is under 18 years of age, the Entry Blank must be signed by a
representative who is of age and who, by such signature, individually ac-
cepts responsibility and risk as stated above the signature. One owner per
Entry Blank. ENTRY, DRUG, AND STALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT
THE TIME OF ENTRIES AND ACCOMPANY THE ENTRY BLANK.
Make checks payable to the Florida Morgan Horse Association (FMHA).
10. All amateur riders or drivers must have in their possession a current
Amateur Certification or make application for such at the Show
Secretary’s office at least one hour before the class.
11. Horses can be stabled any time after 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Stalls
NOT be available until that
12. Stalls shall be $120.00 for the show. All permanent stalls are solid

stalls the Show Committee reserves the right to limit the number

13. A charge of $40.00 per day will be charged for horses without .
14. Refunds on entries will be made on bona fide casualty to horse, ex-
hibitor, or exhibitor’s immediate family up to April 5, 2021 with a
valid veterinarian or doctor’s certificate. No refunds will be made after
April 5, 2021 Refunds will be made 30 days after the show.
15. All debts incurred to the Show must be paid in full before exhibitors will be
given permission to leave the show grounds.
816. All classes will receive six ribbon placings. PRIZE MONEY WILL BE
PAID ONLY IF THERE ARE 3 ENTRIES IN THE CLASS. Prize
money will be mailed within 30 days.
17. We will adhere to the 2-minute rule, unless a tack hold has been
requested. All holds should be requested two classes ahead..
18. Junior Exhibitors shall not have reached their 18th birthday. The age of an
individual on December 1, 2020shall be maintained throughout the show
year.
19. All horses must have a NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST within one year pri-
or to the show date. A copy of this must accompany the Entry Blank.
20. All dogs MUST be kept on a leash or confined to stalls. (GR1301.6)
21. All exhibitors are expected to abide by USEF Rules relating to dis-
cussions with the Judge.
22. Should any questions or disputes arise that are not provided for in the
foregoing rules, the same shall be referred to the Show Committee
whose decision shall be final.
23. All Morgan Champions and Reserve Champions shall have one foot
measured immediately upon leaving the ring..
24. The Florida Morgan Horse Association and Alachua County will in no
way be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur or be liable
for an injury to horse, exhibitor, spectators, or any other interested party .
Exhibitors in classes for Ladies and Amateurs must be 18 years old
26. All rated sections are official USEF competitions for the USEF
National and Regional Horse of the .
Protests will be in accordance with the USEF Rule

may be purchased directly from the showgrounds through the

32. Golf Carts will be available for rent for $200for the week. Please reserve

33. Any individual including trainers, owners, exhibitors, or their agents may
be fined $100 for the improper disposal of needles or other sharp
disposable instruments. Sharps containers are provided .

252021 YOUTH OF THE YEAR CONTEST
The 2021Youth of the Year contest will be held in conjunction with the
Citrus Cup Regional Horse Show, April 14-17,2021his contest is designed to en-
courage you to become well versed in all areas of horsemanship. Although many
excel in certain areas, the competition rewards a cumulative score in four divisions.
Each division is awarded 250 points. Six ribbons will be awarded for the best
scores in each division. The cumulative scores for each division will result in a
Junior (under 14) High Point Award, and a Senior (14 – 21) High Point Award.
There will be Championship and Reserve Ribbons for the highest two scores in
both Junior and Senior Divisions. The awards will be presented during the Satur-
day evening session. In addition, the Senior Over All Champion may qualify to
complete in the Youth of the Year Contest at the World and Grand National Mor-
gan Horse Championships in Oklahoma City. They will also receive the Jennifer
Montgomery Perpetual Trophy, and will receive a $250.00 sponsorship from the
FMHA for the national contest if they qualify to attend. The cost of participating is
$10.00 and must be paid in advance.

3. Horsemanship: An Individual Performance Showing A MORGAN In a

4. Oral Presentation: Time Allowed Is Three To Five Minutes.

By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider,
Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the
Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the "Federation") and the local rules of
The Citrus Cup Horse Show. I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I
will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the
competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter
and/or participate under the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of
acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts, broadcasts, internet, film,
new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the
competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to
jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to
compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the
laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See GR908.4.
Federation Release, Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Indemnification
This document waives important legal rights. Read it carefully before signing.
I AGREE in consideration for my participation in this Competition to the following:
I AGREE that the "Federation" and "Competition" as used herein includes the Licensee and Competition Management, as well as all of their officials,
officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers and Federation affiliates.
I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse, as a rider, driver, handler, vaulter, longeur, lessee, owner,
agent, coach, trainer, or as parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition
involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or
death. ("Harm").
I AGREE to hold harmless and release the Federation and the Competition from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or
my horse and for any Harm of any nature caused by me or my horse to others, even if the Harm arises or results, directly or indirectly, from the
negligence of the Federation or the Competition.
I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm resulting from the negligence of the Federation or the
Competition.
I AGREE to indemnify (that is, to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred by) the Federation and the Competition and to hold them harmless
with respect to claims for Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse while at the
Competition. I have read the Federation Rules about protective equipment, including GR801 and, if applicable, EV114, and I understand that I
am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty, and I acknowledge that the Federation strongly encourages me to do so while
WARNING that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries. If I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child's
participation and AGREE to all of the above provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child's behalf I
represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this competition.
I AGREE that if I am injured at this competition, the medical personnel treating my injuries may provide information on my injury and treatment to
the Federation on the official USEF accident/injury report form.
BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Federation Rules and all terms and provisions of this entry blank and all terms and
provisions of this Prize List. If I am signing and submitting this Agreement electronically, I acknowledge that my electronic signature shall have the same
validity, force and effect as if I affixed my signature by my own hand.
