A MESSAGE FROM OUR ADMINISTRATOR
Dear residents and families,

Summer is coming to an end here at the Pines and we’re already missing it! We did some in-
credible activities and have many more planned for the month of October. We hope that you
will stay tuned to our social media platforms to see what we’ve been up to!

As we move into the days of fall, we ask you to continue remaining vigilant by following all
COVID precautions when visiting the facility, especially in light of the recent spread of the
Delta variant.

LET’S TALK ABOUT FLU SYMPTOMS

Flu Symptoms and Next Steps:
Go see your doctor if:
• Your fever gets better than suddenly worsens.
• Your symptoms do not improve within seven days.
• You cannot get rid of a cold or you begin to have thick mucus.
• You experience head, sinus, or ear pain.

Vaya a ver a su médico si:
• su fiebre mejora de lo que empeora repentinamente.
• sus síntomas no mejoran en siete días.
• no puede deshacerse de un resfriado o comienza a tener una mucosidad espesa.

Go to your nearest emergency room, or call 911 if you experience:
• Difficulty breathing
• Chest pain
• Severe or persistent vomiting
