THE NATIONAL CENTRE OF INDIGENOUS EXCELLENCE Ranger Nat and Ranger Jamie love training with the awesome Tribal Warrior Team.

It is inspiring to train alongside the motivational Shane Phillips CEO of the Tribal Warrior Association and Advocate for Aboriginal Rights and respected member of the Aboriginal Community. The Tribal Warrior program teaches acceptance, identity and unity raising strong leaders of tomorrow. Jamie and Nathalie would like to acknowledge the Traditional owners and custodians of this land. May we all pay our respects to Elders both past and present.

Join us on our adventure As AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST PRIMARY SCHOOL EXCURSION COMPANY, it is our ethos that people with passion can revolutionise education and inspire the next generation towards a brighter future…. and this is exactly what we do. Jamie always had to study harder than the average student, he was a visual learner who found throughout his schooling that he took away vast amounts of knowledge on practical days rather than conventional learning from text. This sparked his dream to create an educational tour company where students who may not thrive in conventional classroom learning will excel in an outdoor learning environment just as he had as a child.

His work as a National Park Ranger paved the way to realise his gifts as an enthusiastic educator who’s passion is infectious.

Jamie and Nathalie met at UTS studying a Bachelor of Environmental Science/ Marine Biology from 2009-2015. Both studying part time, with their similar personalities and passion for the environment they quickly became best friends. It was no surprise when they became business partners working flawlessly together building Ranger Jamie Tours to the company it is today, managing a team of over 40 staff in only their 3rd year of business. Following Graduating with their degrees; Jamie and Nathalie decided to revolutionise the school excursion industry, creating school excursion programs for K-6 focusing on Environmental Science, Australian Flora and Fauna, History, Ecosystems and Sustainability to inspire the next generation towards an environmentally aware and sustainable future.

THE REAL STORY As a proud member of the NSW business Chamber, business partners Jamie and Nathalie from Ranger Jamie Tours were overwhelmed to be crowned the winners of the YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR category at The 2018 NSW Business Awards. Such an honour to be awarded this incredibly prestigious title, in recognition of the incredibly hard and revolutionary work these young professionals are doing in NSW. 2018 NSW BUSINESS AWARDS- Young Entrepreneur of The Year IN OUR COMMUNITY OUR STORY 6 7 For a full outline of the day CALL TODAY! To Ranger Jamie and Team I would like to thank you for the amazing day you provided for our students this year. Our students continually speak about how much fun they had and the things they learnt. The booking process was very simple. Having transport options, risk assessments and extra classroom activities provided made it very easy and quick to organise. I look forward to working with you again next year and many years to come. Kind Regards, Peter Lavender Stage 2 Teacher Bondi Public School Ranger Jamie Excursions are always a great experience. The Rangers know how to engage all of the students and make learning fun and memorable.

They also make everything very organised for the teachers. We always look forward to our next Ranger Jamie excursion! Kind regards, Ms Caitlin McGraw Presbyterian Ladies College I highly reccomend the exciting and enthusiastic Ranger Jamie Tour group. Ranger Jamie had the children chanting, laughing and moving from the word Go and kept the children well in- formed and engaged through his own passion and enthusiasm for History. A great excursion for children of all ages!

Warmest Regards, Rachael Castro Stage 2 Teacher St John Bosco Primary School The Ranger Jamie incursion was one of the highlights of the year for our students. The day was so well organised and Jamie and his staff were very flexible and adapted quickly to every curve ball a busy day at school can throw. The students learnt so much and continued to talk about the experience even after the school holidays. I can not recommend this company more to anyone who wants their kids to learn in an exciting, safe and educational setting.
