Children of the 90s
This multi-generational research project
has been collecting and studying
health data from families since the early
1990s. It’s the most detailed study of
its kind in the world.
So far, the project has published more
than 2,000 papers on a vast range of
topics such as diet and ftness, parenting
patterns, autism, allergies and self-harm
and the impact of genes, environment
and major life events on physical and
mental health. The data has contributed
to breakthroughs, with big impacts on
science and policy.
During 2020, participants helped
researchers understand more
about COVID -19 by completing
questionnaires, taking antibody tests
and reporting symptoms.
The study will continue to follow
participants throughout their lives, as
