Dragon boat
Dragon boating is a sport that requires
everyone on the boat to coordinate and
work together. As long as one does not
follow the beat, the boat could easily flip
over. This teaches participants the
importance of teamwork and the spirit
of perseverance – to never give up easily
despite the odds – characteristics of a
true leader.
The Leadership Challenge
(TLC)
Games at TLC are designed to bring out
the leadership qualities in delegates.
Delegates have to be constantly on the
lookout for leading opportunities and
step up to the task. This is where the
leadership skills of the delegates are put
to the test.
Opening Ceremony
At the Opening Ceremony, our invited
guest of honor and speakers will share
with the students about the social issues
in the world and their own story, the
challenges they face and how they
overcome it . Through talks by inspiring
guest speakers, students will be able to
understand the social issues that are
happening on a deeper level.Group Discussion
Students will be led by trained facilitators
to discuss about the current social issues
in the world. As each student shares their
own thoughts, everyone will be able to
grow together. From the discussion, it
would lead to ideation for their social
enterprise business model based on a
specific social issue.
Social Enterprise Visit
University students will visit one of the
social enterprises in Singapore to get to
understand the actual running of a
company, challenges they face, as well
as the social impact they can create.
Social Enterprise Workshop
What makes a dream team? Delegates
will identify their strengths and discover
the roles that they fill best in a team. This
allows them to become a more effective
leader.
Social Enterprise Idea Fine-
tuning and Competition
Participants would have to generate a
