Dear Friends and Fellow Outdoor Supporters,
Welcome and thank you for supporting our third annual Heartland DSC Banquet! It is our largest
event to date. We are excited to state that Heartland DSC continues to make an ever-growing
impact on our local community through the pursuit of our our mission of “Getting Youth
Outdoors”.
Highlights of the past year included a youth fishing tournament, certification of new young
hunters during our hunter education course, a youth shooting clinic, Heartland DSC sponsored
youth hunts, a youth trap shoot and a special hunt for a very
special young man.
Keeping in mind that we want all youth to have the
opportunity to get outdoors, we achieved a major goal during
the previous year by obtaining an ActionTrack chair. It is our
intent to not only use the chair to expand accessibility to
Heartland DSC activities, but to also make the chair readily
available to other like-minded outdoor sports organizations to
maximize its use and impact. While our efforts are focused on
all youth, we are putting a special emphasis on introducing
outdoor activities to those youth that may not otherwise have
the opportunity due to disabilities, lack of accessibility, or
other life circumstances.
We have worked hard to attract outstanding auction items from reputable outfitters and donors
who have graciously donated to the organization’s mission. Heartland DSC encourages you to
place your bids with confidence and in the spirit of providing the funds necessary to further the
organization’s objectives while obtaining goods and services for your enjoyment.

Year in Review
Youth Fishing Event
June 2019
During the 2019 Youth Fishing Event attendees
included kids from Completely Kids of Omaha and
the Boys and Girls Club of Council Bluffs. For many
of them this was their first experience fishing. Many
caught their first fish, but they all left with great
prizes and gifts.
Youth Hunter Education
July 2019
We certified forty-five new hunters during the
2019 Heartland DSC Hunter Education Course.
Upon completion of the course graduates were
provided the opportunity to take some shots at
clay pigeons during the live fire event.
Summer Event July 2019 This year’s summer event included the official unveiling of Heartland DSC’s newly acquired ActionTrack mobility chair. As always, a good time was had by all those in attendance and the kids were provided the opportunity to try their luck at fishing in the private ponds. Youth Trapshoot September 2019 Heartland DSC held their first Youth Trapshoot during 2019. The successful event was attended by seventy junior high, high school and college age shooters. Shooters competed for a variety of great prizes, received a Heartland DSC shooting towel and lunch and had a great time participating in outdoor activities.
2019 Youth Hunts
Keeping with our mission of “GETTING YOUTH OUTDOORS” Heartland DSC provided a number
of youth hunting opportunities in 2019 ranging from the pursuit of waterfowl, turkey, whitetail
deer and elk. Here are a few of our happy young outdoor enthusiasts.

ActionTrack in Action Our 2019 Youth Hunting Program was highlighted by the opportunity to send Cade, an 11-year old from Nebraska on an elk hunt in New Mexico. Cade, along with his family spent the first week in October of 2019 in pursuit of a bull elk fulfilling a dream for young Cade. Heartland DSC provided hunter education, chair orientation and shooting practice in preparation for the hunt. Cade helps plan out the days hunt with his guide. As is usually the case on most hunting trips, memories are not only made in the field. Heartland DSC representatives Corey Goss and Melissa Brown accompanied Cade on the hunt. Cade was able to fulfill his dream of shooting a bull elk, and the fact that it was a trophy made it only more exciting! Thanks to Northern Extreme Adventures, Pony Express GMC, our sponsors, donors and supporters that helped make this happen.

When bidding from the floor, raise your hand, napkin, or if necessary, stand to get the attention of the
auctioneer or one of his staff. Some items will be available for remote bidding using an on- line service.
All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. All high bidders are responsible for payment of the auction
items according to the payment terms as set forth herein. The auctioneer will decide any disputes
regarding the bids during the live auctions.
In order to help you enjoy the live auctions more and ensure that you are successful in bidding for your
favorite items, we make the following suggestions: 1) Read the description of each item carefully from
the auction list prior to the auction. 2) Ask questions ahead of time, talk to the donor, and visit the
outfitter’s website. 3) Note some of the donated trips may require additional expenses not listed in the
description. 4) Photographs included in the program are representative only and may not be a
photograph of the actual item.
CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS
Heartland DSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Consult your tax professional for deductibility of
amounts paid for auction purchases.
PAYMENT TERMS
After the winning bidder has been confirmed, a Heartland DSC representative will record winning
bidder’s number for processing. Payment will be required prior to leaving the venue the night of the
auction. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit card (MasterCard or Visa), or check.

Board Members and Directors are eligible and encouraged to participate in all silent and live bidding,
raffles, games, etc. that require purchase to participate. Board Members, Directors and their children

Whitetail Deer & Hog
3-Day/3-Night Guided Whitetail Hunt for 1 Youth
This Plano, Texas area guided whitetail buck
hunt is for one youth (age 18 and under) and
one adult non-hunter and includes the trophy
fees for one whitetail buck scoring up to 140”
gross Boone & Crockett. Along with all-
inclusive lodging and meals, the youth will also
have the opportunity to take a whitetail doe and
one hog at no additional cost.

Nebraska Hunt
Pronghorn Antelope
3-Day/4-Night Archery Antelope Hunt for 1 Hunter
Having more antelope and antelope property
than they know what to do with has created the
perfect problem for this outfitter. During the first
half of the season, hunters sit in one of the many
ground blinds scattered throughout their
Western Nebraska camp concentrated over
windmills pumping water or a natural water hole
that the antelope are used to drinking from. As
the rut progresses midway through the season,
they start to spot-n-stalk these crazy fast animals
behind homemade antelope decoys in the
mornings, while hunting in blinds in the
afternoon during the heat of the day. The
combination of these two strategies throughout
the season keeps their customers excited for
each new day and successful while pursuing the
fastest land mammal in North America.
In Western Nebraska they operate and hunt on
properties that cover the main destinations
including the famous Sandhills, North Platte
River, Wildcat Hills, Niobrara River, and Pine
Ridge Regions of the State.

Special Winners Choice
Pick a Hunt in Alaska
Choose 1 Fabulous Alaskan Hunt from 2 Options
For this special auction item, long-time Heartland DSC supporter Craig Hill has made available
two great hunting options for the winning bidder. The high bidder chooses which of these two
great hunts they wish to take as soon as bidding closes for the item. Big game hunting in Alaska is
a hunting experience like no other. There is not anything quite like taking a trophy Caribou,
Mountain Goat, Moose, Grizzly Bear or Black Bear, especially surrounded by Alaska’s incredible
scenery.
OPTION 1 is a 10-day fully guided Alaskan hunt
for two (2) hunters including caribou trophy fees
for both hunters, meals, lodging and the option
for each hunter to add a grizzly bear and/or
black bears.
The goal of this outfitter is to provide hunters
with a hunting adventure that is not only
authentic and traditional but as comfortable as
one can be in the Alaska wilderness. You will
stay in wall-type tents or cabin structures at one
of their base camps. The base camps have
generators so you may charge electric items.
You will be fed well with some of the best meat
Alaska has to offer along with traditional meals
as well. Argo’s and boats will be used to
navigate the hunting area.

Craig Hill has recently gained access to a
hunting area near Yakataga, Alaska that is known
for its high population of mountain goats. The
area is also known for producing exceptional
trophy moose.
Mountain goat are known to dwell in remote
mountain areas. If you are looking for a
challenging and rewarding adventure this is the
hunt for you.
Craig Hill is a lifetime Alaskan now living in
Galena for the past 36 years. He has a deep
knowledge and understanding of Alaska's large
game. Obviously, your goal and his is to take
home a trophy animal, but he also wants you to
take home the memories of a complete hunting
experience.

Texas Hunt
Unlimited Hogs
3-Day/2-Night Texas Hog Hunt for 2 Hunters
This weapon of choice hunt takes place near
Waelder, Texas in part of the Post Oak Savanna
forest area that early settlers called "Cross-
Timbers" which was a cross of oak forest and
prairie grassland. Mesquite Trees dominate the
ranch and provide food and cover for wildlife.
This is a great hog hunt for archery hunting,
crossbow, rifle hunting or shotgun. Bow hunters
love hunting in the “honey hole” with a very
high success rate.
The ranch also is home for a wide variety of
different exotic animals including Ram, Axis
Deer, Elk, Red Stag, Ibex, Sika Deer, Fallow Buck,
Black Buck, and more! Not all the animals at the
ranch are available for hunting.

Guided 5-Day Patagonia Safari for 3 Hunters
This five-day hunt for three hunters takes place at
Andalen Lodge, located in La Pampa state,
Northern Patagonia, Argentina on a private 5,000-
acre ranch.
A typical itinerary includes arrival to Santa Rosa
airport the day before the hunt. Once at the
lodge, the group will relax until morning when
breakfast will be served, and the hunt begins.
Hunting method is usually 2x1 guided spot and
stalk. At lunch time, an international chef will be

The Black Bear hunting at Top of the Rock
Adventures is spectacular. Their vast area
stretches across Saskatchewan wildlife
management zone 74 & 75 from the Alberta
border to the Manitoba border, but most of the
hunting is within a 100-mile radius of camp.
Baits are placed 3-5 miles apart or are
separated by water bodies. While ninety
percent plus of their clients are archery hunters,
rifle, muzzleloader or shotgun hunters are
welcome as well.
Their hunts have been producing a high ratio of
colored bears. They take a very good
percentage of Pope and Young bears every
year, and some Boone & Crocket bears as well.
The remote wilderness they hunt finds bears
that have never seen human beings before, yet
it is possible to drive to the outfitter. The bears
are not nocturnal and therefore they do not
hunt late into the evening. Hunting is done from
tree stands and ladder stands and occasionally
from ground blinds.

Prairie dog hunting provides the opportunity to do a lot of shooting at a variety of distances. The
Western Nebraska properties hunted by this outfitter offer high density prairie dog towns for all

3-Day/4-Night Guided Whitetail Hunt for 2 Hunters
Over the years, Briarwood Sporting Club in Northeastern Ohio has become an elite destination
for estate whitetail hunts. Briarwood has compiled the industries best genetics, providing their
clients with opportunities to harvest the largest whitetails in the world. On their guided whitetail
deer hunts, one can expect to see several whitetails in excess of 200″ and have the opportunity to
harvest the “Buck of a Lifetime.”
The gorgeous hardwoods and meadows
present a natural habitat that is mixed with
sporadic food plots and wildlife openings. First-
class service, accommodations, lodging, lakes,
food, and hunting all come together to form an
unforgettable experience.

• 3-Days/4-Nights lodging, meals and
beverages for two hunters
• 1X1 guided hunting
• This base package includes a $1,000
credit towards trophy fee for deer
scoring up to 170” for each hunter
• Each hunter will be required to pay
$4,000 at the completion of the hunt
• Hunt to be taken September 13 through December 17, 2020 or 2021
• Non hunters may accompany at $150 per day per person
• Does not include taxidermy, gratuities and shipping of trophies

Mexico Hunt
Unique Jungle Species
7-Day Campeche Jungle Hunt for 2 Hunters
Seven-Day jungle hunt for two hunters in south
Mexico where you can harvest unique species
like the Oscillated turkey, red and brown
brocket deer, great curassow, forest cougar,
crested guan, coati, paca, agouti and much
more.
This 1x1 guided hunt will take place in the
southern Mexico state of Campeche, on
200,000 acres of jungle. Hunt arrival and
departure point is Campeche, Mexico.
Transportation during the hunt will be by foot
and vehicle and method of take is shotgun.
DETAILS
• Meals, chalets and mosquito tent camp accommodations
• Trophy fees for three species for each hunter. Hunters have the choice of the following:
• Red brocket deer • Coati
• Gray brocket deer • Oscillated turkey
• Collared peccary • Great Curassow
• Agouti • Crested guan
• Paca • Chachalaca
• Perdiz
• Field preparation and packaging
• Transportation during the hunt
• Schedule this hunt with the outfitter for open dates between March 15 and May 30, 2020
or 2021. Airfare is not included. Firearms are available to be rented from outfitter ($150/
wk). Additional hunters are welcome for $4,500 and non-hunters for $1,500. Not included
are landowner fees ($1,400/hunter), licenses ($350/hunter), tags ($200/species), Trophy
exportation cites, crating, shipping and handling ($450 and up depending on number of
species), before and after hunt expenses in Campeche, and gratuities. Hunt can be
upgraded to include more days and species per the outfitter’s current price list.
