BALTIMORE RIOTS, LEADERSHIP CRISIS, SCOFFERS
            AND THE LAST DAYS
Our Father in Heaven we come before your majestic throne today to give you praise and
thanksgiving, to worship you and reverence your name. Bless our assembling together and to
study your word. Please guide and inspire us with your Holy Spirit. Fill us with wisdom; guide
our steps in understanding how to serve you best according to your will. Help us to do everything
we do, be to your honor and glory. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, your son
Yeshua, the Messiah.

Greetings! Today is the 27th day of the Omer count and the sixth day of the fourth week and we
are already over halfway to Pentecost. This week in the daily Omer meditation, a practical guide
to character building, we examine the emotional quality of the attribute of Netzach or endurance.
This week, we are to be working on learning to endure—learning to persevere— and develop
that quality of never giving up. Netzach means endurance, fortitude and ambition and is a
combination of determination and tenacity. It is a balance of patience, persistence and guts.
Endurance is also being reliable and accountable which establishes security and commitment.
This requires that the endurance be closely examined to be sure that it is used in a healthy and
productive manner. It is for our benefit and that of others.

Let’s review the quality that we were to concentrate on yesterday which was day 26 —Hod of
Netzach: Humility in Endurance. Yielding—which is a result of humility—is an essential
element of enduring. Standing fast can sometimes be a formula for destruction. The oak tree,
lacking the ability to bend in the hurricane is uprooted. The reed, which yields to the wind,
survives without a problem. Do you know when to yield, out of strength not fear? Why am I
often afraid to yield?

We don’t have to always win the argument, or discussion. Sometimes it is better to yield and not
always have to be right. Endurance is fueled by inner strength. Hod of Netzach is the humble
recognition and acknowledgement that the capacity to endure and prevail comes from the soul
that God gave each person. This humility does not compromise the drive of endurance; on the
contrary, it intensifies it, because human endurance can go only so far and endure only so much,
whereas endurance that comes from the Divine Spirit in us is limitless. We have to have faith in
God and believe, and therefore endure. Do I attribute my success solely to my own strength and
determination? Am I convinced that I am all-powerful due to my level of endurance? Where do I
get the strength at times when everything seems so bleak? God’s Spirit imparts strength. It is the
Spirit of power, love and of a sound mind. Every day when you awaken, seek God in prayer and
acknowledge God for giving you a soul with the extraordinary power and versatility to endure
despite trying challenges. This will allow you to draw energy and strength for the entire day.

Day 27 –Yesod of Netzach: Bonding in Endurance. Bonding is an essential quality of
endurance. It expresses your unwavering commitment to the person or experience you are
bonding with, a commitment so powerful that you will endure all to preserve it. Endurance
without bonding will not endure. This is especially true of our relationship with God and Christ.
Are you willing to endure everything to be one of God’s chosen – persecution, tribulation, even
torture? This is what great love Christ has for us. Out of love, He endured the cross and gave his
life for us. He endured to the end.

I am working on a commitment to take regularly scheduled walks, continuing the program of
small portions and continue to keep losing weight to an optimum level which my wife delights in
seeing progress. It is a continual battle but I’m making progress by persevering to develop this
character trait and running the race that is set before me. A favorite saying my Dad often quoted
was: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!” When learning to ride a bicycle and stop
peddling, a fall readily happens. Genesis 32:24-26—Jacob endured wrestling all night until
daybreak with a Man. When the Man saw that he could not overpower Jacob, he touched the
hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
Then the Man said “let me go”, but Jacob would not give up and replied, “I will not let go unless
you bless me.” Then God blessed him, saying “Your name will no longer be Jacob but Israel,
because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.” Israel means
“power with God (champion of God).”

God wants each one of us to learn to prevail and become an “overcomer”. 1 Timothy 6:12—
Paul urges us to “fight the good fight of faith.” In this age today, we need to beware of all the
enemies around us and remember the armor of God. Ephesians 6:10—“Finally, my brethren, be
strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may
be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the ruler of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Don’t leave
anything out! We are in a wrestling match today for our eternal life.

Ephesians 6:14-17—“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put
on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of
the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints.” God wants us to be an overcomer, and we need his armor to
do this.

1 Peter 5:6-14—“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He
may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be
sober; be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same

sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all
grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a
while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory, and the
dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
From the moment we get up until the moment we go to bed, we need to remember every day that
we are on the road to developing God’s character. We need to say, thank you, God for another
wonderful day—for all the trials and all the blessings that we may experience in that day. Our
day needs to begin and end with prayer, praise and thanksgiving to God. This draws us closer to
God and walking with Him. Mighty men of old walked with God—“Enoch walked with God”
(Gen. 5:24), and Noah walked with God (Gen.6:9). Of David God said:—“I have found David
the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will” (Acts 13:22). To walk with
God means that you will do all God’s will—walking in the footsteps of Christ and following his
leadership example.

The nations of today are walking contrary to God, unrepentant and resisting the Holy Spirit.
They are earning their judgment and condemnation because of their hostile attitude of mind
toward God and his word. Christians are becoming a minority in America and are being
ridiculed. Look at the violence in Baltimore, MD, and this week where leadership and integrity
appears to be missing. Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said at a news conference that she gave
protesters space to destroy in the wake of Freddie Gray’s death. Despite her firm denial a senior
law enforcement source confirmed to Fox News there was a direct order from the mayor to her
police chief to stand down Monday night as riots broke out, effectively tying the hands of the
officers as they were pelted with rocks and bottles seriously injuring six policemen in the violent
protest by what appeared to be high school students whom the mayor first called thugs. But then
she had to back track her critical comments. About 200 small businesses were affected from the
burning and looting, and six Baltimore police officers have been arrested and charged in the
death of Freddie Gray. The handling of this riot was pure folly. Demonstrations occurred in
several other large cities across America during this same time. Civil unrest has begun in
Baltimore and this is only just the start of something bigger. Rioting can well bring on martial
law which exists by executive order already signed into law by Obama.

Newsmax (4.24.15) by Dan Weil. According to former White House budget director David
Stockman, “There are no markets left in any meaningful sense of the word, just a raging casino
infected with the madness of the crowds and the central bank pied pipers who mesmerize them.
That madness is illustrated in the month-long rise of Chinese stocks and the rebound of
McDonald’s shares last week. China’s Shanghai Composite Index has soared 121percent in the
last year. What has transpired in the land of China during this parabolic move? Everything has
gone virtually straight south because of the most fantastic credit bubble in recorded history is
beginning to burst. Whole brand new modern Chinese cities, mostly built in the last ten years
are uninhabited cities which have never had people living in them. McDonald’s business model
is visibly failing and has been for several years. Bottom line: “this is a mania – an outbreak of
herd irrationality in the stock market today.”

Four centuries ago (1500’s) a whole country went completely crazy for tulip bulbs. Not
only were they beautiful, but there were lots of varieties to be classified. This went
beyond aesthetics. It was known as tulipmania. It involved many timeless issues like
behavioral biases, malfunctioning markets, inequality, and basic economic concepts like
supply and demand imbalances. By 1720, all Europe was “awash with schemes to
make money”— an irrational investment craze that soars sky-high and then suddenly
collapses and bursts like a bubble. Dutch tulips were the first speculative asset to see
prices shoot through the roof, and then quickly crash. The main reason we still
remember it today is bubbles kept happening. No one learned their lesson.
Nasdaq Composite Index advanced to a record high for the first time since 2000, it pays
to look back at the dot.com bubble which burst that year. The lesson: “investors were
not wrong” writes Wall Street Journal columnist Jason Zweig. They just paid too much
to be right. So before you lose your lunchbox over the current NASDAQ rally make sure
you aren’t repeating the mistakes of the past. This does not mean it is strong, it means it
is volatile.
The National Inflation Association (4.28.15)—“In NIA’s opinion, the US economic bubble
is approaching its peak with remaining nominal net worth upside of only 1% and
dramatic short-term downside of 22%. In other words, America’s household net worth
currently has 22 times more downside risk than upside potential! The conclusion is that
today’s bubble economy has become much more dangerous than the 2007 bubble that
led to the financial crisis. The bubble is scheduled to burst again, most likely. Collapses
occurred in 1987, 1994, 2001, and 2008. If history repeats itself the next US stock
market crash will occur during the fourth quarter of 2015.” What does it take for America
to wake-up?
“Any list of America’s top allies will show most of them abandoning the U.S.
economically. Great Britain, Canada, Australia, South Korea, France, Germany and 51
other nations are clamoring to joining either Russia’s Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)
or China’s Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIA). Both are designed to compete
with the dollar and leads to the replacing of the U.S. petro-dollar with the Chinese yuan
for international trade. Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, a top economic
adviser to presidents Obama and Clinton, warned a few weeks ago economic allies
abandoning the U.S. marks “the moment the United States lost its role as the
underwriter of the global economic system. Put your investment in something tangible.”
Put your money into God’s work and the kingdom of heaven where there are everlasting
returns.
America has the most lawless president in office and the leadership of our cities do not
seem to know how to effectively handle the growing lawlessness of the population and
minorities. Does it make sense that citizens allowed to gather together and then turn
violent, are allowed to loot and burn down the city buildings/businesses and it is okay?
Shoebat.com (4.27.15) by Theodore and Walid Shoebat. “The Baltimore Riots are All
Pre-Planned Anti-White Cop Haters Ushering in the Era of Lawlessness in America.” On
MSNBC a local Baltimore councilman said they knew hours in advance that protestors
were planning a “Purge” riot. So after all the planning by the city and the mob, it started
by black protesters throwing huge bricks and bottles at police who are forced to retreat.

The Mayor of Baltimore says that the city provided “Safe Spaces” for Protestors to
destroy if they “chose to”.
“Baltimore seems like Syria or Iraq and rioters acting as a separatist society. One is
reminded of the ISIS thugs controlling the streets as firefighters were called to the three-
alarm fire engulfing the building at Gay and Federal streets, across the city from the
riots that broke out. The new senior center being built by the Sothern Baptist Church in
East Baltimore was set ablaze. At least 10 firefighting companies were attempting to
control the raging blaze to keep it from spreading to nearby houses. The new center
was being built by Christians across the street from the church to help the poor
community. The senior low-housing project, planned as roughly 60 apartments and a
community center, has been in the works since at least 2006. Why burn the center
down intended to help better the community? Church members formed a prayer group
off to the side of the fire and prayed: “Save our city. Rescue us, O God. There is so
much hurting, so they are acting out and we need to come together.”
The city of Baltimore has a black government, a black woman mayor and half the police force is
black and yet they haven’t solved their problem. RenewAmerica (4/28/15)—Ellis Washington
column, “Baltimore burning: The collapse of Democrat Socialism slavery in America.” Mayor
Rawlings-Blake who said she wanted to give space to those “who wished to destroy” gave
Baltimore Black gangs who were sworn enemies (Cripps and Bloods) the nod to become instant
allies in the burning and pillaging of the city of Baltimore. Forty years ago the citizens of
Baltimore (or any other educated city in America) would have demanded Mayor Stephanie
Rawlings-Blake’s immediate resignation for making such a stupid and ignorant statement fueling
animalistic activities which are destroying her own city. In 1968 another Democrat Socialist
mayor mishandled another Baltimore riot that year. The riots ended the political career of
Baltimore mayor Tommy D’Allessandro (mayor1967-71), the brother of current House minority
leader Nancy Pelosi. “That was the end of my career.”

“America spent over $15 trillion to eradicate poverty and all we’ve done over the last 80 years is
increase poverty exponentially while destroying the Black family – something that 250 years of
chattel slavery in America was unable to achieve.” April 1968 was when Martin Luther King
was assassinated and there was four days of rioting in Baltimore. Six people were killed, 700
injured, and 1,000 businesses destroyed. It took 10,000 National Guard and federal troops to
bring order out of the violence. Like Detroit’s 1967 riots, the city has still not recovered from the
Baltimore’s riots of 1968 almost 50 years later. Remember the Democrat mantra of the 1960’s?
“The issue is never the issue. The Issue is always the Revolution.” This means that the Democrat
Socialist Party will always employ their communist strategies and Alinsky tactics to kill the
hopes and dreams of Blacks and other minorities in America.”

The Democrat Socialist program is a failure. It doesn’t work. The solution isn’t more Democracy
and more money thrown at the problem. The solution is to turn to God and his laws, statutes and
judgments which guarantee success and prosperity by developing character through education
and families learning to bond together. A society will fall apart if there is no family bonding
together with education and learning. It is a choice. Either bond together or fall apart in chaos.
Michael Savage has written a timely book published in 2014 entitled Stop the Coming Civil War.
Civil War would give President Obama the excuse he needs to declare martial law.

All the nations of the earth come within the scope of Isaiah’s prophetic predictions and
Israel’s Messiah. Our nation is lacking leaders with integrity and wisdom. Isaiah 3:1-9—
“See now, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, is about to take from Jerusalem and Judah both
supply and support: all supplies of food and all supplies of water, the hero and the
warrior, the judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder, the captain of fifty and the
man of rank, the counselor, skilled craftsman and clever enchanter. I will make mere
youths their officials; children will rule over them. People will oppress each other—man
against man, neighbor against neighbor. The child will be insolent toward the elder, and
the base toward the honorable. Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling; their words and
deeds are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory. The look on their
countenances, witnesses against them, and they declare their sin like Sodom.” That is
where America is today and brazenly displays it, debating the meaning of the word
“marriage” all the way to the American Supreme Court to decide the legality of same
sex marriages taking place today. The word of our Creator God condemns it and says in
verse 9, “Woe to their soul, for they have brought evil upon themselves!” Then in Isaiah
3:10-12 God says, “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat
the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his
hands shall be given him. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women
rule over them. O my people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the
way of your paths.” Sin is a disgrace to any nation.

Mobs have behaved insolently toward those who have honor. A recent example of this behavior,
are the mobs that gathered in Baltimore and broke into private stores, looted merchandise,
demolished 150 businesses and burned buildings to the ground. Someone built that store. An
honorable person was running that community store. A city cannot be run successfully without
morality or without law abiding citizens.

Freedom Watch—April 6, 2015. San Diego. (ONN) Warnings are flooding the internet over the
US government’s upcoming Operation Jade Helm (JH 15). The American military is holding a
two-month exercise this summer in which a virtual Martial Law will be declared across much of
the US Southwest. The goal is to train American soldiers to put down a domestic insurgency. But
the country’s patriot movement and its military arm, the various volunteer militias, are planning
to use the exercise themselves - to practice deploying against the occupying armies of a
dictatorship. The US military has confirmed that Operation Jade Helm is real. The documents
and maps released online are real. The citizens of seven Southwestern states will spend the
summer of 2015 with all four branches of the US military deployed in their communities to
suppress a supposedly theoretical rebellion. A letter sent to Dave Hodges at The Common Sense
Show by a concerned Texas Ranger who has kept his identity private for obvious reasons says
that there are trains moving throughout Texas and some of them have been outfitted with
shackles, presumably to “transport prisoners of some sort.” The people and law enforcement
officials of Texas have not been told what is really going on. President Obama recently signed

“doomsday” executive orders. How much longer will America be called the home of the free and
the brave?

Director Joel Gilbert, who produced the film, “Dreams from My Real Father” interviewed
Barack Obama’s brother Malik on April 10, 2015. Mallik stated that Barack has turned his back
on the people and become a different person in the way he behaves politically and treats family.
“He says one thing and then he does another. As far as I am concerned, he is not being an honest
man in who he is and what he says and how he treats people. His real character, his real
personality—the real him is coming out now.”

Obama will mock Christians as in the case of Michele Bachmann making her the butt of his
jokes during Saturday’s White House Correspondents Dinner for her Christian beliefs. He
complete shies away from anything mocking the Islamic faith and has written and spoken
profusely about his Islamic heritage and affinity towards that faith system—all the while
claiming to be a Christian. Bachmann, the former four-term Republican congresswoman from
Minnesota, criticized Obama earlier this month for his support of a framework agreement with
Iran that she says will lead to war and bring judgment on America. He said, “Michele Bachmann
actually predicted I would bring about the biblical end of days. Now that’s a legacy. That’s big.
I mean Lincoln, Washington, they didn’t do that.”

The progressive media and others have taken Obama’s cue and jumped on the “mock Michele
Bachmann for her religious beliefs” train ride. Shawn Drury, senior editor for Blue Nation
Review chimed in with an abusive article titled “Armageddon is Upon Us Because of Obama,
Gays.” MSNBC, Huffington Post and others followed suit. Marina Fang, of Huffington Post
reported that Obama has said repeatedly that the goal of the nuclear talks with Iran is to prevent
the country from developing a nuclear weapon, and added that “Bachmann also blamed abortion
and gay marriage, arguing that God is punishing the U.S. for ‘embracing a pagan view.’ ’’ The
U.S. negotiations actually provide a pathway for Iran to develop nuclear weapons. God says he is
going to judge and punish people for not repenting of their sins. Modern day Babylon has been
weighed in the balances, found wanting and is about to fall.

Christian leaders also weighed in. Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries commented on her
program, “Understanding the End-Times,” that Michele Bachman believes that we are living in
the “end-times”. So do I! I have been writing and talking about the end-times for years and
believe that we are currently living in the end-time. Markell added, “What is there about a godly
Christian woman that is so offensive to so many today when they are simply telling the truth as
Michele is? One way or another, God will get His message out that He is coming soon. God is
calling all watchmen on the wall.” Bachmann was unfazed by Obama’s snarky comeback. She
told World Net Daily: “The Bible is filled with exciting information about living life today and in
the future, both in this life and in the life to come. Any message that brings people closer to
God’s wonderful plans for our lives is a good thing. God’s word is true and brings freedom and
wholeness to all who read it and believe in Him.”

President Barack Obama appears to be aligning the United States with radical Islamist nations
against the sole democracy in the Middle East—Israel. Obama has stated that he sees “no path to
a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority”. Obama’s supposed

congratulatory call to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, two days after the
Likud leader triumphed in Israel’s elections, Obama made clear to the prime minister that the US
was reconsidering its support for Israel at the UN as well as its approach to Israeli-Palestinian
peace in light of Netanyahu’s pre-election comments rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian
state. He has threatened to consider the option of not using America’s veto to block a UN
Security Council resolution to grant statehood to the Palestinian Authority, possibly along the
1949 Armistice lines, also known as the “1967 border”. It appears that he has abandoned Israel
and is rushing to the United Nations to force a peace deal.

In Genesis 12 the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from
your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; and make your
name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him
who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. So Abram departed as
the LORD had said to him.” The leadership of President Obama and his Administration are about
to pull the plug on Israel and have not been blessing Israel but have been cursing Israel and this
fact is now public.

Obama is proclaiming peace in our times and scorns friends like the nations of Great Britain and
Israel but befriends Iran, Russia and China. It reminds me of England’s Neville Chamberlain
who is noted in history as the great appeaser. He was intent on averting war and believed when
Adolph Hitler signed the Munich Agreement the outbreak of war would be adverted and assure
the future of Anglo-German peace. That day in London, Chamberlain praised the Munich Pact as
bringing “peace with honor in our time”. The very next day, Hitler broke the Agreement.
Germany annexed Sudetenland and the rest of Czechoslovakia and the country ceased to exist.
Six months later the German army invaded Poland and WW 2 began.

The Apostle Peter talked about the leaders of today. 2 Peter 3:1-13 —“Beloved, I now write to
you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you
may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the
commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will
come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of
His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning
of creation.’ For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and
the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished,
being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same
word, are reserved for fire until the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But the day
of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great
noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will
be burned up.”

“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in
holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of
which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent
heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which
righteousness dwells.”

Scoffers are one of the primary signs of the end of days. Look up, for our redemption draws
nearer by the day. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! To Him be the glory now and forever.
