Bounce Back, Be Resilient, and Thrive in 2021
                  Hi Nalyn,

34 Years is a long time for anything. This Oxalis, aka ‘prayer plant’ was the
parting gift from my NYC apt next-door neighbor and dear friend, Peter.

In July 1987, I waved 'see ya later' to my bucket list adventure of living in an
amazing brownstone near Central Park, in the Big Apple of my birth. I packed up my
city life to begin studies in what has been my dream, my vocation. Driving down I-
95, I smiled as I recall seeing the giant peach water tower appear in the distance,
                  signaling I was almost there.

Spartanburg SC and Sherman College of Chiropractic! I would become immersed in
my education, graduate, and head back North to open my Lehigh Valley practice in

1990. As fate would smile, dear neighbor Peter would move too, from NY to CA and
right near my school! We reconnected and have a lunch date almost annually when
I return for license renewal. Gotta love serendipity! Happy 82nd birthday dear Peter!!

Thru the years my house plant almost didn’t make it in those moves from NY
to SC to PA,; getting knocked over a few times, or catching a draft. But here's
is the lesson: Each event created a STRESS.

Each time I nurtured it back to health-gave it light, water, fertilizer and even some
kind words. My prayer plant has greeted me, morning and night for the past 34
                  years!

What in your life do you give as much care and love to, knowing it relies on
you for all the basic essentials to live and blossom and thrive?

Hopefully your own health and nerve system! This is the vital system that runs all
else. Life requires 24/7 clear nerve flow to function, repair, heal and have strong
immunities so you can function and be your best. Consistent chiropractic checkups
locate and correct subluxations, providing you with a healthier life expression each
and every day. Simple as that.

Schedule an appointment for you and your family, so you can stay resilient and
thrive in 2021. As stressors challenge us, you’ll be ready to bounce back like my
                  wonderful oxalis.

                  Happy February and
I'll see you on the tables,

                  until vegetables are tender.

Stir in cooked pasta, kidney beans, peas, cooked beans and Spring
Green salad mix. Cook 5 minutes more.
Ladle hot into bowls and grate on cheese.
I filled almost 4 quart canning jars. Enough to eat, freeze and share

recipe and photo from Grateful Prayer, Thankful Heart

                                         Chiropractic By the Numbers

2.2 grams. The weight of a dime. It doesn't feel like much, but 2.2 grams
is enough to restrict the electrical transmission down the nerve by
                  40%-60%.

That's why it's so important to get your spine checked regularly. Everybody's
different. Most folks get checked weekly as do I. Some folks see me twice a
month, others, when they are able. Just like you may not notice the weight of a
dime in your pocket or pocketbook, you may not be aware of one subluxation
or even many subluxations. Keeping your regular chiropractic appointments
keeps the pathway clear for your brain to send information to your body
through your nerves. So, no weight on your nerves is a big plus.
