Try Something New! - 20th June to 21st July - Brochure - Bromsgrove Festival
Welcome to the Bromsgrove Festival
The Bromsgrove Festival has a long and successful history and 2019 will be its 59th year.
The 2018 Festival was judged a great success. Feedback from event organisers, who saw
increased attendances, and audience members was almost unanimously positive. In light of
this, the Festival committee have had no hesitation in organising the 2019 Festival in the
same wide ranging, high quality community based style.
The 2019 Festival programme continues to focus on arts and cultural activity in Bromsgrove
and maintains the range and quality of such events provided in previous years. Alongside
this, the trustees have sought to continue the emphasis on free community arts events.
These will include free events on Bromsgrove High Street on three Saturdays during the
Festival period, support for the EnjoyRubery weekend and the promotion of three Bite Sized
Classics concerts in Catshill, Charford and Rubery. We hope that this will encourage greater
participation in Festival activities.
To help your way through the range of events on offer, we have included a list by genre at
the end of the chronological listing. The full programme is also available on our website at
www.bromsgrovefestival.co.uk.
The 2019 Bromsgrove Festival offers another exciting programme. We know that you will
find something that you will enjoy and we encourage you to try something new right here on
your doorstep in Bromsgrove.
