       ‫إىل عهود سابقة‪ ،‬أهمها أهرامات الجيزة‪ ،‬إال أن الكثري من أوجه املدينة‬
          ‫األصلية قد اختفى‪ .‬فالواقع العمراىن الحايل للقاهرة املتسم بالكثافة‬
           ‫العالية وطغيان املباين املغطاة بطبقة من الغبار وانتشار املشكالت‬
              ‫البيئية يصعب معه تخيل أن قلب القاهرة التاريخى كان محاطا‬
                    ‫باألراىض الخصبة الخرضاء والبحريات فقط منذ قرن مىض‪.‬‬

           ‫تعترب القاهرة أكرب املدن املليونية يف أفريقيا‪ ،‬وهي يف تحول مستمر‬
