We are pleased to send you the spring and summer Parks and Recreation Guide
for 2022. We have many new, exciting programs and events planned for you
to enjoy. Please browse this brochure and take the time to learn about all the
recreational programs available to you.
Clarkstown remains committed to providing our residents with a variety of

CommunityPass is a secure site that the Town of Clarkstown is now using for program and facility registrations. Please follow the instructions
below to set up your family account.
**If you already have a CommunityPass account from another organization or community, please use your existing username and password to
log in and register for programs offered through this organization. You do not need to create a new account.**
1. From a computer with internet connection, GO TO: register.communitypass.net/clarkstown or go to Town Hall, Recreation & Parks,
Registration, Register Online.
2. Click on the blue box that says “Create an Account” on the left side of the screen.
3. Make up your own User Name (no spaces allowed) and Password in the Log In Information.
4. Scroll down and enter your Primary Account Information (The adult you want listed as the Head of the Household must be 18 or older). **Please
make sure to put in your mobile number and provider and check the box to the right if you would like to receive alerts via text messaging.**
5. Click on the orange “CREATE” box.
6. Read Privacy Policy, Accept, and click on the orange “FINISH” box.
7. This should take you to the Main Page, click “VIEW ACCOUNT” on the bottom right.
8. Click “Add Adult” or “Add Child” on the top right.

The Town of Clarkstown reserves the right to adjust the pool schedule, particularly the last two weeks of the pool season
in the event of a lifeguard shortage for student lifeguards returning to college.

MORNING LAP SWIMMING AT GERMONDS POOL
The lap lane section of the main pool will be used for the morning
lap swimming group. This is not an instructional program. Only
those registered will be allowed in the pool area during this time.
No children will be permitted in the facility.
Day/Time: Monday - Friday 7:30 am- 8:30 am
Dates: June 27 — August 12
Eligible: Adults 19 years of age and up
Fee: $150.00
No Lap Swimming program on July 6, 13 and 20.

All lessons will be conducted subject to availability of instructor.
Parents are not permitted in swim area (except for pre-school swim instruction).

PICNIC PERMITS
Picnic permits are available for Congers Lake Memorial Park and Germonds Park. The cost of the
picnic area is $50.00 at these locations. The cost of the shelter at these locations is $150.00. NO Clarkstown Mulch
REFUNDS. There is a limit of 5 paid guests allowed to use the pool with a valid pool pass holder.
Radios / PAs are not allowed in the picnic area. There is a $100.00 cash security deposit for picnic
and Compost Site

DOG PARK AT CONGERS LAKE SOUTH and Facilities Management
The dog park has 2 areas. There is an area for dogs 25 pounds and (845)639-2111 during normal business hours
under and a separate area for dogs over 25 pounds. The dog park is
open to Clarkstown residents only and all dogs must be registered
with the Town Clerk. You must adhere to the posted rules. The dog

expires 5 years from when they are issued. You must come in and show residency for a new card. Expiration date

BOATING INFORMATION
Private boating permits are available to residents of Clarkstown for use of privately owned nonpowered boats (electric motor allowed)
on Congers Lake. Your boat must be inspected at Congers Lake Memorial Park before the permit can be validated. Applications for
permits are available online at www.clarkstown.org (under Recreation & Parks-Permits & Applications), or at Congers Lake Memorial
Park (where the boat will need to be inspected), or at the Recreation & Parks office. The craft must be a car top mount type.
Boat Inspection Time: April 4 - October 14, 2022

The boating season will be from May 1st through October 31st, weather permitting
