As we have said before – we really do understand what a challenging time this is for families who are having to juggle home
learning with work and everyday family life. Please do get in touch if there is anything, we can do to support you.

On Monday the 1st of February we would love for you to try some Pudding Lane baking! We thought a ‘live’
cooking lesson could get a little messy so we will be filming and recording a cooking lesson for you to watch
and follow. We will also upload the written instructions. We know lots of parents will be working and it
could be difficult to bake during the week so we thought you may want to bake at the weekend instead
(either 30th/31st). To make the Puddling Lane Cakes you will need: Self-Raising Flour, Caster Sugar,
currents/sultanas (optional), butter, milk, 3 eggs. If you would like to join in, please have your ingredients
ready on Monday the 1st of February or before. We will post the simple recipe and video on Friday the 30th .
Then, join us on Monday during your zoom to enjoy eating a cake and listen to a story! We would love to see
any photos you have of you baking, to share with the class.
A PE and maths warm up today! If you enjoy this warm up Jack Hartman does
 plenty of variations

Today we will be beginning to write our news report! Yesterday you
planned what you were going to write.
If are finding it tricky to start you may want to watch Mrs Reynolds
write. Watch here: Writing a News Report
You will also find a news report template which you are welcome to
use if you have a printer. Not to worry if you don’t have a printer,
you could try setting your writing out in a similar way.
 • You can access the writing template on the blog or on Teams.
 • You don’t need to send me your news report until you have
finished. You will also have Friday to finish your report off and
 draw your picture.
This week we would like you to trial sending us your finished news
report on teams. Login to Teams and select ‘assignments’ on the left-
hand side. If you are unable to do this contact us or send via email as
 last resort. Many thanks!
Today in our Art lesson we will be following on from your work last week.
Today you will – Design a home in the style of Hundertwasser.
When designing your home we would like you to think of how you will be using
lines and colour to enhance your building.

Please watch Art Lesson - Part 1 and Art Lesson - Part 2

We would love to see your fantastic designs so please do email them to us.

Here’s the link for the Hundertwasser website (the right one!) Hundertwasser
