What is Esthetics?
Esthetics pertains to the science of the skin and skin's histology -
specifically, relating to the beautification of the skin through facial
treatments, makeup artistry, hair removal, and more.
What is an Esthetician?
An Esthetician performs procedures on the skin to enhance its appearance -
including, but not limited to, facial treatments, chemical peels, hair removal
procedures, eyelash extensions, makeup artistry, microdermabrasion,
radiofrequency skin tightening - and more!

Additionally, please complete the following steps regarding
Admissions & Enrollment so we are able to assist you
towards the career of your dreams - and creating a life you
love!
1. Fill out a FAFSA at https://fafsa.gov/ if you plan to utilize
Federal Student Aid.
2. Schedule an Admissions Appointment with Brandon Sykes
and complete the following items: Enrollment Contract,
Aptitude Test, and FERPA Form. Bring two forms of
Government-Issued Identification and a copy of your HS
Diploma, Transcript or GED equivalent. Pay the $100
Registration Fee towards your selected start-date of choice.
3. Schedule a Financial Aid Meeting with Stacie Carter in the
Financial Aid Office.4. Admissions is complete.

The Advanced Esthetics Academy is available to Licensed
Estheticians, Registered Nurses & Nurse Practitioners. All
procedures deemed to be medical procedures in the state of South
Carolina are Microneedling, Microblading, Dermaplaning, Cosmetic
Laser, and Medical Peels. All service providers planning to provide
those services to the public are to be underneath the direct
supervision of a Physician at all times.
