Rimini Marathon returns with its autumn event, the 'River Run'. Two days of sport with the Expo at the Tiberius
Bridge.Before the race, on Saturday 2 October at 3.30 pm the first "Family river bike", a 25km cycling tour open to
everyone in safety with a route along the Marecchia cycle path that reaches Santarcangelo di Romagna. On
Sunday 3 October at 9.30am the 'River Run' (competitive FIDAL) starts with a distance of 15km, always in the
beautiful scenery of the Marecchia cycle path.

The singer-songwriter Chiara Raggi presents in a live concert, her latest album 'La natura e la patienza', released
in December 2020, in full pandemic, for the newborn music label Musica di Seta.
The artist, guitarist and composer, is accompanied by Massimiliano Rocchetta on piano and keyboards, Tiziano
Negrello on double bass and Michele Iaia on drums.
It is a concert in which you enter the female world, and not only, which deals with themes such as self-
acceptance, awareness, the legitimation of one's work.

Exhibition on the excellence of wines at the City Museum
The exhibition, conceived by Giorgio Conti and Elia Barbiani (Archives of Modernity in Venice), with the
collaboration of Patrizia Poggi, has three dimensions: retrospective, perspective and proposal.
The first is the retrospective one, as it intends to reconstruct the history of viticulture and excellent wine cellars in
the Rimini area, from the 1900s to the present day, through objects, works of art and documentation, sometimes
unknown.
The second dimension, that perspective, tries to answer the question: "How can we communicate the excellence
of wines through labels?" Thanks to the collaboration of LABA Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, and the teacher
Maria Cristina Serafini, the students of the Graphic Design course have tried to give an image to the types of the
most important wines of the Rimini area.
The bottles were placed in showcases, as "theaters", where vintage objects and works of art interact with the
bottles and their new labels designed ad hoc.

The Film Festival in Rimini
The Rimini Film Festival is organized by Confindustria Romagna, Cinema Fulgor, University of Bologna - Science
Department for the Quality of Life of Rimini, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and with the patronage
of ANICA. The event is back again in 2021 to support and spread the culture and values ??of the film industry and
all its related sectors, which are among the most affected by the crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
An opportunity for dialogue that will obviously take place according to the progress of the pandemic and in
compliance with the regulatory provisions and protocols for the prevention of coronavirus.
The Film Festival is proposed again with a rich program of free events, full of screenings, masterclasses, training
moments, meetings, up to the final ceremony for the "Cinema and Industry" award which in 2021 will be
conferred, by the jury chaired by Pupi Avati, to to the Italian director, screenwriter and producer Dario Argento.
A largepart of the program is dedicated to the memory of Federico Fellini, to his art and his genius, and to the
centenary of Giulietta Masina' s birth, so as to continue the celebrations for the great Master in the year of the
Fellini museum opening.
Rimini Film Festival Opening Night: on 30 September with the reading "The spirit of Juliet" by Marina
Massironi and the presentation of Valpharma for cinema, in the historic cinemal in corso d’Augusto frequented by
Fellini when he was a child, the Fulgor.

2021 MotoGP World Championship at Misano World Circuit - Marco Simoncelli
Double appointment of the Moto GP in Misano. After the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix in
September, which saw Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini on the podium, the circuit dedicated to Marco
Simoncelli will host the NOLAN Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna from 22 to 24 October.
The double appointment comes on the tenth anniversary of Marco Simoncelli's death and in the year of Valentino
Rossi's farewell to races. As a matter of fact the Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna will be Valentino
Rossi's last MotoGP race in front of the Riders' Land crowd and in Italy.
On the basis of national anti-Covid provisions, Green Pass is mandatory and the circuit will host a maximum of
25,000 people per day.

Unicum. Stories at the Museum

Exhibition of ancient art at the City Museum, curated by Massimo Pulini
The exhibition of ancient art, curated by Massimo Pulini, gives you the chance to admire unique works for quality
and refinement. Emerged from the international antiquarian scene and investigated from a historical and
philological point of view, they represent real unveiled jewels: Benedetto Gennari (1633-1715) with the Madonna
and child for the court of England (from 7 May to 13 June); Simone Cantarini (1612-1648), The rediscovered
portrait of Alessandro Tassoni (18 June - 31 August) and finally Guido Reni (1575-1642) with Landscape with
Cupids (from 10 September to 31 October).
Due to their historical importance and their provenance from important collecting contexts, these works are
deeply linked to the events of our artistic culture.
The Unicum project owes its name to the choice to exhibit a single work in the Manica Lunga, on the first floor of
the City Museum.
The single paintings will therefore take turns occupying the 'scenic' space set up by the Cumo Mori Roversi
architecture studio in 2020 for the exhibition of the Madonna Diotallevi, a youthful masterpiece by Raphael,
unfortunately penalized by the imposed closures due to Covid19.
The subtitle is 'Racconti al Museo' (Stories at the Museum), since the paintings proposed by the exhibition trigger
historical, artistic and biographical narratives of particular interest and curiosity. Their narrative potential, for which
they were chosen, has the ability to fertilize and enrich the city museum of Rimini in an open dialogue with the
other works on display and in particular with the seventeenth century.

Guido Reni. "Landscape with playing Cherubs"

Unicum. Tales at the Museum, curated by Massimo Pulini
As part of the Unicum exhibition. Tales at the Museum, the painting by Guido Reni, Landscape with cupids, is
presented.
The work is a landscape with Scherzi di amorini (Jokes of Cherubs) (oil on canvas, 77x60), re-emerged on the
antiques market and already attributed to Francesco Albani (or to his school), and is now recognized as a rare
masterpiece of Guido Reni's early production, commissioned by Odoardo Farnese with a provenance from the
secret dressing rooms of the Palazzetto Farnese.
The very refined hand is, according to the scholar Massimo Pulini, that of Guido Reni (Bologna, 1575-1642): “a
careful and fluid hand, capable of descending into botanical details and of maintaining an algid, clear chromatic
register; to move all the virtuosity of the pictorial orchestra without losing even for a moment the harmony of the
whole ".

Gaetano Donizetti's work, written by Salvadore Cammarano, is inspired by the famous novel 'The Bride of
Lammermoor', by Walter Scott.
An opera that has marked, since the evening of its debut at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, on September 26,
1835, a capital page for the history of melodrama.

Giovanni's gold. The restoration of the 'Croce di Mercatello' and the fourteenth century art in Rimini

Exhibition dedicated to Giovanni da Rimini, the Master of the fourteenth century school and curated by Daniele
Benati and Alessandro Giovanardi
The exhibition, promoted by the Cassa di Risparmio di Rimini Foundation, the A. Marvelli Institute of Religious
Sciences and Soroptimist Rimini, is curated by professors Daniele Benati and Alessandro Giovanardi.
In addition to the majestic and ancient cross of the church of San Francesco in Mercatello, the only work dated
and signed by the forefather of the fourteenth-century Rimini School, fresh from the restoration of these months
and which will be back in Rimini after 86 years, five other works complete the exhibition .
The exhibition compares the crosses by Giovanni present on the Italian territory. The important painted cross of
the church of San Lorenzo in Talamello and the smaller "Diotallevi" crucifix of the Municipal Museums of Rimini,
perhaps coming from Sant'Agostino.
Other comparisons can be made with the shaped cross of the Antiquario Moretti of Florence, the Spina crucifix by
the master of Montefiore and the head of Giuliano da Rimini.

Dante and the Divine Commedy in Emilia Romagna

A video and a widespread exhibition on Dante's testimonies in the region of his exile
To celebrate the seventh centenary of Dante's death (1321-2021), on the occasion of Dante day, the Emilia-
Romagna Region releases a video, entitled "Dante in Emilia Romagna", which shows the close relationship
between Dante and the region, from the first years of his exile to the last refuge in Ravenna.
In addition, the Department of Culture and Landscape of Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with the Italian Dante
Society, has organized a widespread itinerant exhibition, to highlight the Dante testimonies preserved in the
archives and libraries of the region, the land where Dante was welcomed after his exile from Florence. As a
matter of fact, precious manuscripts of Dante's works and various other historical, documentary, literary and
artistic testimonies, proliferated in this area and still survive today in the libraries and archives of the cities along
the ancient axis or on the edge of the Via Emilia, from Piacenza to Rimini.
There are 14 EXHIBITIONS that will be set up in almost all the provincial main cities of the region, over a period
that goes from 25 March 2021 until March 2022.
The Gambalunga Library in Rimini also participates in the initiative with an exhibition 'Dante's works in the
history of the Gambalunga Library', which will be set up from 10 September - 13 November 2021

Symphony concerts and collateral projects
Since 1950, the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana has brought to Rimini the most prestigious conductors, soloists and
orchestras of the international music scene, for one of the longest-running cultural events in Italy. Besides the
usual symphony concerts, the program includes sections dedicated to chamber music and ancient music.
After the two events, from ancient to contemporary repertoire, which marked the preview of the 72nd Malatesta
Music Festival, with the versatile and admired voices of Laura Catrani (13 and 14 July, 9.30 pm) and Arianna
Lanci (19 and 20 July, 9.30 pm), The Opening of the symphony concerts is on schedule on 8 September in the

continents, 21 universities, 30 teachers and 100 young people of every ethnicity and 18 languages, have been

Comedy of which Francesca is the most beloved and celebrated character, reciting the verses dedicated to her.
A 10-hour marathon with the most famous kisses of love and passion in literature of all time, those of Francesca,
enveloping the world in a choral embrace built on the reading of the verses about Francesca from the V Canto of
the 'Inferno' that were interpreted freely by each university. On 8 March 20,651 people were reached by the FB
page and 17,090 by the event, for a total of 37,741 contacts in 4 weeks. And 4,851 visits to the website in one
day.

21 were the extraordinary performances made by the students who fascinated and moved the whole world,
overcoming every barrier and the many difficulties created by the pandemic.

Friborg, Gottingen, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Madison, Madrid, Mariupol, Msida, New York, Paris, Pesaro,

publication will be produced and distributed for educational and didactic purposes.
The event, conceived by Ferruccio Farina, a scholar who is passionate about the subject and organized by the
Francesca da Rimini International Study Center, the prestigious scientific committee with international danteans,
is part of the "Francesca 2021" project and starts the celebrations of the Malatesta territories between Romagna
and Marche which include a rich program of exhibitions, shows, events, educational activities, guided
tours, aimed at recovering attention for history, arts, memory and, above all, for the positive values ??that
Francesca represents.
After the appointment of 8 March, on the occasion of the RIMINIDANTEday (March,25th), the planetary poetic
marathon has move right into the center of the city of Francesca: Rimini, in Piazza Cavour, paradoxically empty
due to the pandemic. The performances were screened on the facades of the Municipal buildings in a reduced

ERLarte - The exhibitions at the Palacongressi di Rimini, is a new initiative by the Italian Exhibition Group in
collaboration with Art Preview, Augeo Art Space and the Rimini gallerist Matteo Sormani.
The language of contemporary art, through the works of various artists, enters permanently the Palacongressi, a
place that with its distinctive and modern architecture, a few steps from the historic center of Rimini, has
characterized the city landscape for the past decade.
The first exhibition scheduled, from 7 July to 31 December 2021, in the Convivio space, is by the Rimini artist
Luca Giovagnoli. The exhibition is curated by Matteo Sormani / Art Preview / Augeo Art Space.

Fellini Museum: the exhibition in the Isotta wing of Castel Sismondo curated by Luca Cesari
The exhibition returns the richness, variety and complexity of the poetics and the world of the Romagna poet and
screenwriter Tonino Guerra who for many years worked alongside Federico Fellini.
Curated by Luca Cesari, it is an extract from the Museum in Santarcangelo di Romagna that testifies the third
period of the poet's life and art: the return to the places of childhood, a new encounter with the land and ancient
crafts. Here are concentrated more than thirty years of imagination and industriousness, the last of Tonino
Guerra.
The exhibition itinerary presents the “lucciole di bellezza"/"fireflies of beauty", a collection of paintings, books and
objects conceived by the Master and created by the skilled hands of artists and artisans.
The exhibition dedicated to the great poet, writer and screenwriter from Santarcangelo is included in the itinerary
of the Fellini Museum.

After the great success of the single 'Contatto' and, of the homonymous album, certified gold, the Negramaro are
back touring all Italy and, in Rimini, with the zero date of the Contatto Tour 2021. Instead of October the tour
starts next year in March waiting for a a larger capacity of the stadiums.
Waiting for the starting of the tour in 2021 the Negramaro performed in a live streaming on March 19th. The title
of the event is 'First Contact' and is broadcast on the LIVENow platform.

The first time of the Penne Nere ('black feathers') in Rimini, on the centenary of the national gathering
The 'Black feathers' (this is how the Italian mountain troops are nicknamed) arrive for the first time on the
Riviera.
It will be a special edition because 100 years have passed since the first spontaneous meeting of the Alpine
troops. The gathering, at first scheduled for May 2020 in Rimini, has been postponed to May 2022 to cope with
coronavirus emergency.
The 2021 gathering will be the first held simoultaneously in Italy and abroad, involving the territory of San Marino.
The 'Alpini' registered in ANA are approximately 350 thousand, divided into 110 sections, 80 in Italy and 30
abroad. Among them there will also be 4,500 members of the Bolognese-Romagna section of the Ana "Angelo
Manaresi", chaired by Vittorio Costa, who also includes citizens from the Republic of San Marino.
