ABOUT
About BlockWorld
The BlockWorld 2018 is set up to be an open floor
plan with minimal walls or closed off spaces, to
promote attendees mixing between booths and
the surrounding expo area. We find this open
cooperative format helps encourage attendees’
discovery of new companies and technologies, and
makes the expo area more of an open networking
hub than privatized work rooms.

11GETTING BOOTH MATERIAL TO VENUE
SHIPPING/DELIVERING OR DROPPING OFF YOUR EXHIBIT
1. ROSSI EXPOSITIONS will provide complete material handling for exhibitors. The facility is union and there will be a charge
for all freight brought into the building.
2. All freight deliveries / exhibit drop-offs MUST be arranged with Rossi Expositions. To arrange freight delivery / exhibit
drop-off contact Rossi Expositions at 510-436-7500 or email info@rossiexpo.com.
3. Rossi Expositions will be sending each exhibitor a log-in to their online portal. From here you can arrange freight
shipping / delivery and print shipping labels. Freight charges will be outlined in the portal.
4. Exhibitor freight cannot be delivered in advance to the venue. Freight will only be accepted during showing installation
hours.
5. All items and materials brought into the facility are subject to Material Handling Charges and are the responsibility
of the Exhibitor. This also applies to items not ordered through official show vendors and disposal of booth
materials.

email from them with login information to their Exhibitor Order Site. On this site, you’ll
find important event information, such as set-up and dismantle schedules, advance
(discounted) pricing deadlines and shipping deadlines. You’ll also be able to order a wide
variety of equipment and services for your booth, including the following:

BlockWorld 2018 | 14INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
All Exhibitors are required to provide an original certificate of insurance showing liability
insurance of not less than $1,000,000/each occurence and $1,000,000 aggregate in effect during
the dates of the expo. The certificate must name Data 2.0, Inc. as an additional insured. If an
original certificate is not submitted, exhibitors are prohibited from setting up their exhibit booth
or otherwise participating in BlockWorld 2018 .
All BlockWorld 2018 exhibitors are required to submit proof of insurance to Emily at
emily@devnetwork.com by August 24, 2018.
How do I obtain Insurance for BlockWorld 2018?

How much does the Insurance Cost?
To exhibit at BlockWorld 2018 from September 13 - September 14 (2 day expo)
the insurance is quoted at $130.
When is the Certificate of Insurance Due?
The certificate of insurance is due to emily@devnetwork.com by August 24, 2018.
I have never had to do this for a exhibiting at a show
previously why do I have to do it for yours?
This is a policy that most large tradeshows have in place to protect exhibitors and attendees. In

Insurance Requirements
The EAC is required to submit Certificates of Insurance for worker's compensation insurance,
comprehensive general liability insurance, and automobile liability insurance. The worker's compensation
and employer's liability insurance must provide a minimum limit of $1,000,000 and meet the requirements
established by the State of California with a Waiver of Subrogation in favor of Rossi Expositions.
Comprehensive general liability coverage must provide $1,000,000 combined single limit bodily injury and
property damage liability. Rossi Expositions must be named additional insured as respect to general
liability for above exposition. Automobile liability should include all owned, non-owned, and hired vehicles
with limits of $1,000,000 combined single limit. Umbrella liability is acceptable to meet above minimum
requirements.
The EAC agrees that it will indemnify and hold harmless Show Management and Rossi Expositions Inc.
from any action resulting in injury or damage to persons or property caused by an act of omission,
negligence or misconduct on the part of the EAC or any of its agents, servants, employees or contractors.THE TEAM
