PRESENTATION:
The Guatemalan National Wrestling Federation, the Guatemalan Olympic Committee
and the Autonomous Sports Confederation of Guatemala are honored to invite you to
participate in the 2021 Senior Pan American Championship, which will be dedicated
to the bicentennial of our independence.
We would like to thank the United World Wrestling and United World Wrestling
Americas for their trust in us. We assume the commitment with the greatest
responsibility, for which we receive the support of various public and private
institutions, among which we form a single work team, with the fundamental
objective that the participants enjoy the best care during their stay in our country
and that the event is a sports party with the highest international standards of quality
and professionalism.

DATE: The Championship will be held during the dates from May 27 to 30, 2021. LOCATION: The competitions will take place at the "Teodoro Palacios Flores" National Gymnasium, located in Guatemala City, at 12 Avenue and 26 Street in zone 5. The facility has capacity for 4,000 spectators, restrooms, changing rooms, warm-up area, VIP area for UWW authorities and referees, meeting room, facilities for journalists and wireless internet service (WIFI)
GENERAL REGULATIONS: a) The competitions will be organized according to the current regulations of the UWW and/or what is determined in the Technical Congress. b) The Direction of the Championship will be in charge of the Technical Delegate and the Refereeing Instructors designated by the UWW. c) Only those who are duly registered by their National Federation, through the Athena System on the dates established by the UWW, may participate. After that moment, no modifications and additional registrations will be accepted. d) The minimum age to participate is 18 calendar years old (2003). However, they must provide a medical certificate and parental authorization if they still not reach 18 years old at the date of the competition. e) All participating athletes, coaches and referees must have a 2021 UWW License.
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS: All delegations will be staying at the Hotel and Conference Center "Conquistador" (4 stars), located at: Vía 5, 4-68 Zone 4, Guatemala City. Telephone: +502-2424-4444 www.hotelconquistador.com.gt. The delegations will be accommodated in double rooms, buffet-style food will be served. The hotel is located just 20 minutes from the international airport and 10 minutes from the competition venue. No person will receive accreditation, nor will they be able to enter the hotel if they do not previously present the respective payment receipt, which will be in charge of the hotel staff. No one from the Organizing Committee may authorize otherwise, since it is a private contract. The daily cost per person is CHF 150.-. United World Wrestling will collect the accommodation fee. The accommodation fee will be calculated via the platform Athena and will have to be paid by bank transfer or by credit card to UWW bank account. The heads of each delegation are responsible for the conduct of the members of their teams; therefore, they will be responsible for the damage or breakdowns caused in the places of accommodation, training and competition.
TRAINING BASE: A Training Base will be organized at the "Center for High Performance and Development of America" (CARDA in Spanish), in Guatemala City, during the week prior to the competition (May 17-25). Interested teams should contact the Guatemalan National Wrestling Federation directly.
ENTRANCE TO THE COUNTRY: Please consult the following link if citizens of your country require a visa to enter Guatemala: http://www.minex.gob.gt/Visor_Pagina.aspx?PaginaID=21 For countries or people that require an entry visa to Guatemala, the Embassy or Consulate in each Country will collaborate to obtain them. Copy of the invitation to participate in this competition will help in the procedure. If necessary, the pertinent steps will be taken with our authorities. ARRIVAL AIRPORT: Your arrival in Guatemala City must be at "La Aurora" international airport. Upon entering, there will be a group of fully identified people from the Organizing Committee, who will provide all the necessary collaboration in migration and customs procedures until they are located in the transport that will transfer them to the hotel. If you have any emergency or delay in the connecting flight to Guatemala, we ask you to contact the following telephone number: (502) 2334-1989.
AWARDS: A gold medal will be awarded for first place, silver for second and two bronzes for third places, this will be the case when there are more than seven competitors. Likewise, trophies for the first three places by teams in each style. Diplomas will also be awarded to all participants. OFFICIAL CEREMONIES: The participation of the teams in the opening ceremonies is mandatory and they must attend properly uniformed. During the award ceremony, the national flags of the participating countries will be raised for the 1st, 2nd and the two 3rd classified places. Likewise, the national anthem of the country whose wrestler obtains first place in their respective weight division will be sung in each style.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION WEIGHT DIVISIONS: Competitions will be held in the 10 official divisions. GR: 55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97 y 130 kg. LF/WW: 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62, 65, 68, 72 y 76 kg. LL/ FS: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97 y 125 kg.
REFEREES CLINIC: The international clinic for referees will be held on Wednesday, May 26 th at 15h00. IMPORTANT: Theoretical part of the referee course will be organized online and the information about the time and date will be share by United World Wrestling to all the concerned National Wrestling Federation.
BIOSECURITY MEASURES:
Derived from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee will provide the
following services free of charge:
• Upon arrival in Guatemala City, all participants will be given a SARS-CoV-2
nasopharyngeal swab test, to establish that they are suitable to participate.
• All participants will be provided with a supply of masks and hand sanitizer gel
for personal use.
• Permanently and, in all facilities, body temperature measurements will be
taken, which may not be higher than 37.5 °C.
• Sufficient internal transport units will be guaranteed to keep due distance
between passengers.
• Within the facility, participants will have reserved areas so that delegations
can keep due distance.
• Permanently disinfection of the heating mattresses, competition and common
areas will be practiced.
• No public will be allowed, beyond the amount authorized by the competent
authorities.

In order to enter and leave Guatemala, it is MANDATORY that all passengers present
a negative test of SARS-CoV-2 nasopharyngeal swab (regardless of whether upon
return they require it in their respective country). This test must be carried out a
maximum of 72 hours prior to the trip.
The cost of the tests is as follows:
• SARS-CoV-2 nasopharyngeal swab: US $ 35.00
• PCR specific for Covid 19: US $ 75.00
Payment must be made in cash directly to the laboratory staff. Please find out what
type of test is requested to be able to enter your country again.
The samples will take place at the hotel and the results will be sent digitally.
ANTI-DOPING TESTS:
With the support of the ANADO of Guatemala, anti-doping tests will be carried out
in accordance with the provisions of the WADA/ITA and the UWW, according to the

PRESENTACIÓN:
La Federación Nacional de Luchas de Guatemala, el Comité Olímpico Guatemalteco
y la Confederación Deportiva Autónoma de Guatemala, se honran en invitarlos a
participar en el Campeonato Panamericano Senior 2021, el cual estará dedicado al
bicentenario de nuestra independencia.
Agradecemos a la United World Wrestling y la United World Wrestling Américas por
la confianza depositada en nosotros. Asumimos el compromiso con la mayor
responsabilidad, para lo cual recibimos el apoyo de diversas instituciones públicas y
privadas, entre las cuales conformamos un solo equipo de trabajo, con el objetivo
fundamental que los participantes disfruten la mejor atención durante su
permanencia en nuestro país y que el evento sea una fiesta deportiva con los más
altos estándares internacionales de calidad y profesionalismo.

Tobago , Uruguay y Venezuela .FECHA: El Campeonato se realizará durante las fechas comprendidas del 27 al 30 de mayo del año 2021. LUGAR: Las competencias tendrán lugar en el Gimnasio Nacional “Teodoro Palacios Flores”, ubicado en la ciudad capital de la República de Guatemala, en la 12 Avenida y 26 Calle de la zona 5. La instalación tiene capacidad para 4,000 espectadores, servicios sanitarios, vestidores, área de calentamiento, área VIP para autoridades de la UWW y árbitros, salón de reuniones, facilidades para los periodistas y servicio de internet inalámbrico (WIFI)
REGULACIONES GENERALES: a) Las competencias serán organizadas según el reglamento vigente de la UWW y/o lo que se determine en el Congresillo Técnico. b) La Dirección del Campeonato estará a cargo del Delegado Técnico y los Instructores de Arbitraje designado por la UWW. c) Únicamente podrán participar quienes sean debidamente registrados por su Federación Nacional, a través del Sistema Athena en las fechas establecidas por la UWW. Después de ese momento no se aceptarán modificaciones e inscripciones adicionales. d) La edad mínima para participar es de 18 años cumplidos (2003). No obstante, deberán aportar un certificado médico y autorización parental si aún no cumplen los 18 años a la fecha de la competición. e) Todos los atletas, entrenadores y árbitros participantes deberán tener Licencia UWW del año 2021.
HOSPEDAJE Y ALIMENTACIÓN: Todas las delegaciones estarán hospedadas en el Hotel “Conquistador” Conference Center (4 estrellas), ubicado en: Vía 5, 4-68 Zona 4, Guatemala, Ciudad. Teléfono: 502-2424-4444 www.hotelconquistador.com.gt. Las delegaciones estarán hospedadas en cuartos dobles, se servirá comida tipo bufé. El hotel está ubicado a solo 20 minutos del aeropuerto internacional y 10 minutos del lugar de competencia. Ninguna persona recibirá acreditación, ni podrá ingresar al hotel si previamente no presenta el respectivo recibo de pago, lo cual estará a cargo de personal del hotel. Nadie del Comité Organizador podrá autorizar lo contrario, ya que es un contrato privado. El costo diario por persona es CHF 150.-. La United World Wrestling cobrará la tarifa de alojamiento y alimentación, la cual se calculará a través de la plataforma Athena y deberá pagarse mediante transferencia bancaria o con tarjeta de crédito a la cuenta bancaria de UWW. Los jefes de cada delegación son responsables de la conducta de los miembros de sus equipos, por lo tanto, se responsabilizarán del daño o averías causadas en los lugares de alojamiento, entrenamiento y competencia.
BASE DE ENTRENAMIENTO: Se organizará una Base de Entrenamiento en el “Centro de Alto Rendimiento y Desarrollo de América” (CARDA), en la ciudad de Guatemala, durante la semana previa a la competencia (del 17 al 25 de mayo). Los equipos interesados deberán comunicarse directamente a la Federación Nacional de Luchas de Guatemala.
INGRESO AL PAÍS: Favor consultar en el siguiente link si los ciudadanos de su país requieren visa para ingresar a Guatemala: http://www.minex.gob.gt/Visor_Pagina.aspx?PaginaID=21 Para los países o personas que requieran visa de ingreso a Guatemala, la Embajada o Consulado en cada País colaborará para la obtención de las mismas. Copia de la invitación para participar en esta competencia ayudará en el procedimiento. Si fuera necesario, se harán las gestiones pertinentes ante nuestras autoridades. AEROPUERTO DE LLEGADA: Su llegada a la ciudad de Guatemala debe ser al aeropuerto internacional “La Aurora”. Al ingresar habrá un grupo de personas del Comité Organizador plenamente identificadas, quienes les brindarán toda la colaboración necesaria en los trámites de migración y aduana hasta ubicarlos en el transporte que los trasladará al hotel. PREMIACIÓN: Se premiará con medalla de oro al primer lugar, plata al segundo y dos bronces para los terceros lugares, siempre que haya más de siete competidores. Así mismo, trofeos para los primeros tres lugares por equipos en cada estilo. También se entregarán diplomas a todos los participantes. CEREMONIAS OFICIALES: La participación de los equipos en las ceremonias de inauguración es obligatoria y deberán asistir debidamente uniformados. Durante la ceremonia de premiación se izarán las banderas de los países participantes para el 1º, 2º y los dos 3º puestos clasificados. Así mismo, se entonará el himno nacional del país cuyo luchador obtenga el primer lugar de su respectiva división de peso en cada estilo.
INFORMACIÓN TÉCNICA DIVISIONES DE PESO: Se competirá en las 10 divisiones oficiales. GR: 55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97 y 130 kg. LF/WW: 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62, 65, 68, 72 y 76 kg. LL/ FS: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97 y 125 kg.
CLÍNICA DE ÁRBITROS: Se realizará clínica internacional para árbitros el día miércoles 26 de mayo a las 15:00 horas. IMPORTANTE: La parte teórica de la clínica para árbitros se organizará en línea, la United World Wrestling compartirá la información sobre hora y fecha con todas las Federaciones Nacionales de Lucha interesadas.
MEDIDAS DE BIOSEGURIDAD:
Derivado de la pandemia del COVID-19, el Comité Organizador proveerá los siguientes
servicios en forma gratuita:
• A su llegada a la ciudad de Guatemala, se realizará a todos los participantes
prueba de Hisopado nasofaríngeo SARS-CoV-2, para establecer que se
encuentra apto para participar.
• A todos los participantes se les proveerá de una dotación de mascarillas y
alcohol en gel para uso personal.
• Permanentemente y, en todas las instalaciones, se practicarán tomas de
temperatura corporal, la cual no podrá ser mayor a 37.5°C.
• Se garantizará suficientes unidades de transporte interno para guardar el
debido distanciamiento entre los pasajeros.
• Dentro de la instalación, los participantes tendrán áreas reservadas para que
las delegaciones puedan guardar el debido distanciamiento.
• Permanentemente se practicarán labores de desinfección de los colchones de
calentamiento, competencia y áreas comunes.
• No se permitirá público, más allá de la cantidad autorizada por las autoridades
competentes.

Para poder entrar y salir de Guatemala, es OBLIGATORIO que todos los pasajeros
presenten prueba negativa de Hisopado nasofaríngeo SARS-CoV-2
(independientemente si al regresar la requieren en su respectivo país). Dicha prueba
debe realizarse con un máximo de 72 horas previo al viaje.
El valor de las pruebas es el siguiente:
• Hisopado nasofaríngeo SARS-CoV-2: US $ 35.00
• PCR específico Covid 19: US $ 75.00
El pago deberán hacerlo en efectivo directamente al personal del laboratorio. Favor,
averiguar qué tipo de prueba solicitan para poder ingresar nuevamente a su país.
Las muestras se realizarán en el hotel y los resultados se enviarán en forma digital.
PRUEBAS ANTIDOPING:
Con el apoyo de la ANADO de Guatemala, se realizarán pruebas anti-doping conforme
a lo establecido por la WADA/ITA y la UWW, según los estándares y la versión 2021
