Multiple Officers attempted to speak to the male and resolve the situation over a period of 45 minutes. The male kept yelling obscenities at Officers and refused to come out of the residence. Due to the circumstances, it was decided that Officers and the R/P would leave the residence. At 6:33pm, around 30 minutes after Officers initially left Officers were dispatched back to the address regarding a Domestic Assault. A neighbor reported that the male subject assaulted the female R/P and they were out front arguing. (Female had returned to the scene!) Dispatch attempted to call R/P and male subject answered her phone and said, “who is this” and then hung up. Officers arrived back on-scene and could hear a male & female arguing
inside the residence. Officers observed female R/P exit the residence out the back-door wall & she was crying. Officers made entry into the residence through the door wall and located male subject in a second- floor bedroom. When the male subject saw Officers, he attempted to close the bedroom door. Officers forced the door open the subject resisted Officers and was tased. He was taken into custody for Domestic Assault & R&O.
