7THE VISION FOR MURPHY’S YARD - maximising open public space
the raised heathline
A raised cycle and pedestrian route has been
introduced on the rooftops of plots A and B,
creating circa 2,300sqm of additional open
public space
Located adjacent to the southern edge of
Highgate Studios and overlooking Murphy’s
Yard, this new public space provides an
opportunity for an extended playable landscape
which references Sydney’s “Goods Line”.
A bridge connection is proposed to link the
rooftops of plots A and B, with a further circa
