The “Fossatone” industrial area is situated in the
Metropolitan City of Bologna, at approximately
15 km from the motorway exit (A14) in San
Lazzaro di Savena and Castel San Pietro Terme.
The area is well connected thanks to the existing
municipal road network, and it is close to the
local transportation line.

Two interventions will make this area even more
easily accessible:
• the completion of the provincial road
Trasversale di Pianura (Bologna – Ravenna)

Bologna, the motorway (A13) Bologna –
Padova, and the harbour hub in Ravenna.
• the addition of the Metrobus, a fast
suburban busline which runs on the
