that is the virtual stand, where it is possible to publish texts and photos on the respective company, in order to complete
the respective participation to the fair.
Exhibitor registration entails the signing up for the Fiera Milano Media service. Therefore, by accepting these General
Regulations, the Exhibitor agrees to this service and to the use of its own data by Fiera Milano Media.

14. Unloading and re-shipment of materials
All operations related to the introduction into the Fair Grounds, unloading, set-up in the stand, dismantling and re-shipment
of machines, equipment and exhibit and outfitting materials will be at the Exhibitor's expense.

15. Declaration of value – Insurance – Limitation of liability
15.1. Declaration of value
Exhibitors are required to declare, using the special form downloadable from the E-service platform (compulsory
documents), the total "estimated value" of goods, machinery, fixtures and fittings and equipment they plan to bring to

                                                              4
and/or used at the Fiera Milano ground, even on behalf of Represented Brands understanding that, in lack of such
declaration, the value shall be considered to be the minimum amount as stated in Art. 15.2 below and save in any case the
right to verify the aforesaid declaration by Fiera Milano.
In case of accident, should the final value declared by the Exhibitor fail to correspond to effective value of the insured
property, the value of said merchandise shall be that declared by the Exhibitor.
Pursuant to art. 1907 of the Italian Civil Code, compensation could be determined by the Insurer on the basis of the
proportional criterion.
15.2. "All risks" Policy of the Exhibitors (excluding terrorism and sabotage risks)
The Organizer and Fiera Milano require that all goods, machinery, fixtures, fittings and equipment brought to and/or used
at the Exhibition Centre by Exhibitors are covered by a property "All Risks" insurance, including a clause waiving the
insurer’s right of recourse against Third Parties, including Fondazione Fiera Milano, Fiera Milano SpA, their subsidiaries
and/or affiliates, the Organization and all Third Parties in any way involved in the organization of the Exhibition.
This insurance is made available through Fiera Milano for a capital of Euro 25,000.00 at a cost of Euro 100.00 (of
which Euro 50.00 for insurance brokerage) that will be charged by Fiera Milano SpA through related invoice.
Exhibitors may increase the automatic coverage, by filling in, signing and returning the appropriate form downloadable
from the E-service platform (compulsory documents). Coverage includes the stipulation of 10% insurance exclusion for
each claim in the event of theft, with a minimum of Euro 250,00 and doubling this amount for the reports submitted after
the closing of the exhibition. Should Exhibitors have their own property “All Risks” insurance for goods, machinery,
fixtures, fittings and equipment brought to and/or used at the Fiera Milano ground, valid for fairs and exhibitions, with a
clause waiving the insurer’s right of recourse against Fondazione Fiera Milano, Fiera Milano SpA, their subsidiaries and/or
affiliates, the Organization and all Third Parties in any way involved in the organization of the Exhibition, Exhibitors are
anyway required to fill in and return the signed form, downloadable from the E-service platform, enclosing declarations
signed by their legal representative and the insurance company stating that the above property is covered by an "all risks"
guarantee in a manner no less than that prescribed by the General Regulations (facsimile included in the form). In this
case it will be reversed the sum previously charged.
15.3. Third Party Liability Policy
This cover is automatically provided, free of charge, for all Exhibitors by Fiera Milano. This will become an extension of
its general policy that has a limit of no less than Euro 100,000,000.00 (one hundred million).
15.4. Limitation of liability
The Exhibitor, by signing the Application Form, agree to release Fiera Milano and the Organizer from any liability for
consequential losses, reputational damage, loss of revenues, etc... Also, for any direct loss, as per the coverage provided
as per Art. 15.2 above, each Exhibitor agrees to release Fiera Milano and the Organizer from any liability.

16. Occupational safety and health
For the entire duration of the Event, including setup and striking stands and all associated activities, every Exhibitor is
required to comply meticulously with the entire applicable system of rules of regulations, particularly the rules and
regulations on occupational safety, health and the physical well-being of workers, as well as with employment, pensions
and social security law.
During stand setup and striking, and for any other associated or linked activity, Exhibitors further undertake to comply
with and ensure that all contractors working on their behalf comply with the Fiera Milano Technical Regulations and all
amendments and additions therein, and the provisions contained in article 88, subsection 2-bis and the associated
implementational Ministerial Decree issued on 22.7.2014 by the Ministry of Employment and Social Policies and by the
Ministry of Health.
The Technical Regulations, which may be consulted on the www.fieramilano.it website under “EXHIBITION” (the link to
the “Exhibitor technical information”), also contain precautionary rules on exhibition safety (fire prevention, electrical
installations, environmental protection etc.), excluding specific safety-related rules for activities undertaken by the
Exhibitor or contracted out by exhibitors to contractors (stand set-up/striking and associated activities), for which the
Exhibitor remains responsible for oversight and compliance.
In order to comply with the obligations of the above-mentioned Ministerial Decree issued on 22.7.2014, the Organizer
offers access to these specific documents, Annexes IV and V of the Ministerial Decree, through the Fiera Milano website.
Conduct that fails to comply with the above-mentioned safety regulations, in particular if it impacts general safety in the
pavilions and with regard to other parties in attendance, may prompt intervention by the Organizer and/or Fiera Milano
as part of regular checks and samples, resulting in the immediate cut-off of utilities supplied to the stall or its immediate
closure. Any additional consequence that may arise out of a failure to comply with the above-mentioned provisions is the
Exhibitor’s and its contractors’ sole responsibility.
Fiera Milano may bar staff working for contractors/freelance workers operating on behalf the Exhibitor from the Fair Site
if they do not possess an ID badge as envisaged under article 18 subsection 1u, article 21 subsection 1c, and article 26
subsection 8 of Legislative Decree 81/08, and non-EU hires who, even if they hold an above-mentioned badge, do not
have a valid and legible Italian green card or a valid and legible ID card.
This charge will be passed on to the Employer responsible for and the contact person for any barred staff.
As the buyer, any Exhibitor who authorizes a company to operate on the site on its behalf to carry out work will be

                                                             5
informed of the charge.
Exhibitors shall be responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding all works implemented
and organized under their responsibility and on their behalf, including setup, structures, installations, products
exhibited and all other associated activities.
Every Exhibitor is required to appoint a “Stall Manager” who, for safety-related matters, takes on all responsibility for all
parties who may be involved in terms of the work carried out on behalf of the Exhibitor, for the entire duration of their
stay on the Fair site. At the Exhibitor’s discretion, and wholly under its responsibility, the “Stall Manager” may be a
different individual during each of the three previously-mentioned phases (set-up, the event and striking).
Fiera Milano must be informed of the Manager’s name and his/her phone numbers prior to the start of activation and
setup work on the stall, and in any event prior to the arrival of workers and materials at the Fiera Milano site.
If there is a failure to convey the name of the Stall Manager, this responsibility will be retained by the Exhibiting
Company’s legal representative. The Fiera Milano and Organizer must promptly be informed of any change to the name of
the Stall Manager.
Access to the stall by contractors operating on behalf of Fiera Milano for the supply of services can only take place in
the presence of the “Stall Manager”, and after having received their OK. Fair surveillance and security staff are
exempt from this restriction.

17. Measures to guarantee personal security in the Fiera Exhibition Centre
Fiera Milano, in observance of the instructions provided by the Public Security Authority, has adopted the infrastructural,
organizational and operational measures deemed necessary to guarantee the security of the individuals present for any
reason in the Fiera Exhibition Centre.
Merely by way of example, the following may be provided for, at the sole discretion of Fiera Milano:
a) particular means of access to and exit from the Fiera Exhibition Centre (specific entrances/exits or reserved lanes,
times, systems for the regulation and control of accesses and flows), which may be differentiated according to user
categories;
b) security checks, which may also be carried out with the aid of fixed or portable equipment or instruments, on people,
baggage and personal effects, both upon entry to the Fiera Exhibition Centre and inside it, and, where necessary, upon
exit. These checks will be carried out by Fiera Milano staff or by third parties entrusted by Fiera Milano for the purpose.
Without prejudice to notification to Law Enforcement Agencies and any measures that may be adopted thereby, users who
refuse to undergo checks will be prevented from entering the Fiera Exhibition Centre. If said users are already in the trade
fair district, they will be removed immediately. Users invited to undergo a check must guarantee maximum collaboration,
so that the check can be carried out as effectively and quickly as possible given the nature of the activity. Following said
checks, and without prejudice to notification to Law Enforcement Agencies and any measures that may consequently be
adopted thereby, Fiera Milano reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry to the trade fair district to suspect
individuals or objects, and to immediately remove any suspect individuals already inside the trade fair district; suspect
objects must be immediately removed from the trade fair district by and under the responsibility of those in possession of
them. Fiera Milano is under no obligation to provide services for the safekeeping of suspect objects;
c) variations or limits to pedestrian and vehicular routes within the Fiera Exhibition Centre, including the positioning of
barriers, Jersey barriers, speed bumps and the like;
d) forcible removal, at the risk and expense of the owner, of means of transport of work equipment, objects or personal
effects deemed suspect or liable to interfere with security checks.
The measures in this paragraph are also applicable to all visitors and guests admitted to the trade fair events.

17-bis. Supervision
Without prejudice to the individual measures, compliance with the General Regulation is enforced by the staff of the
Organizer, the pertinent offices of Fiera Milano and, where necessary, to third parties (physical or legal persons)
appointed by the same.

18. Technical services, cleaning
Water will be supplied, as well as other special technical supplies, within the limits permitted by existing facilities, whereby
the connection to the closest power points and the reimbursement of the supply costs will be at the Exhibitor's expense.
The connection and the supply of electric energy up to 5 kW, as well as the cleaning of the stands, are included in the
participation fee (Article 11 of these Regulations).

19. Waste management
The Exhibitor is obliged to remove waste from the Exhibition Centre on a daily basis and to dispose of it in accordance
with current legislation.
In accordance with the Technical Regulations, the Exhibitor and its representatives are jointly and severally liable for the
correct disposal of the waste produced inside the exhibition area and in the assigned exhibition space. It is forbidden for
the Exhibitor (or its representatives) to dump any kind of waste inside the exhibition areas, both in the assigned space and
in the common areas (aisles, roads, etc.).

                                                              6
The ban on the dumping of waste and the related obligation to properly manage/dispose of the same should be understood
as referring to all waste materials and materials resulting from fitting/dismantling work (packaging, materials used such as
walls, false ceilings, floor coverings, etc.).
In case of waste dumping in the pavilions or inside the Venue, Fiera Milano will apply a sanction of € 5,000.00
without prejudice to compensation for further damage, and reserves the right to remove the responsible personnel
from the area and to bring legal proceedings against them.

20. Stand Surveillance
Fiera Milano SpA offers a general surveillance service for the pavilions. The custody and surveillance of the stands during
pavilion opening hours is the responsibility of the individual Exhibitors who are also responsible for protecting the
material introduced during staging and dismantling of the Exhibition. We therefore recommend that company personnel
are in attendance at the stand as soon as the pavilions open and safeguard the same until evening closing. Valuable items
that are easy to carry away should be closed in safes or lockers. Special surveillance services can be provided with an
extra charge by Fiera Milano SpA upon request, via the E-Service platform.

21. Exhibitor's Documents
Once exhibitors have been allocated a stand (available to view and download together with the technical specs at
https://b2b.mido.it/), they will receive a link from Fiera Milano with the credentials (username and password) required to
access the online E-Service platform for compilation of the mandatory documents and requests for Fiera Milano
supplementary services and products.
By means of the online E-Service platform and the Easy Service totems located in the halls, exhibitors can register staff and

stand and even start the dismantling operations. Failure to abide by such rules will automatically entail the infliction
of a fine equal to € 3,000.00.
N.B.: Maximum height permitted for setting up purposes is of 4.50 metres (trademarks and signs included) and
suspended platforms of any nature and type will not be permitted.
Even if already used in previous or similar shows, the use of motor vehicles of any nature and type (bus, lorries, caravans,
camper vans, etc.), regardless of whether they are prepared to be used as exhibition means or spaces, must be strictly
conditional upon the written approval by MIDO's Organising Secretariat that - after having requested comprehensive
documentation - and depending on the relevant vehicle features, as well as on its size and on the positioning to be taken
within the pavilion, it will give its own authorisation or not. At a later stage, the Exhibitor must also inform the Customer
Service - Fiera Milano Exhibitor Assistance.
All stand setting up projects must be uploaded to the 'Compulsory Documentation' section of its own e-service page. Still
through the e-service, Exhibitors may request any necessary Fiera Milano additional services.

23. Commercial and promotional actions
Advertising, except for that on display inside the stand, may be carried out by the Exhibitors in all permitted forms through
Fiera Milano S.p.A. and in agreement with MIDO Srl, which retains exclusive management right with or without the
collaboration of specialized agencies.
The Organizers may reject advertising material the content of which is not suited to the standards of the fair, at their
absolute discretion. It is absolutely forbidden for Exhibitors to carry out any form of walking advertisement, through the
distribution of flyers and/or brochures, of any shape or size, and/or objects or gadgets, either within the trade fair
exhibition areas (halls) or in the common areas of same, except at their stand. Breach of the above shall result in the
automatic application of a penalty of € 1,000.00 and possible exclusion from the next edition.
In case of distribution of phonovideographic or multimedia materials containing works or parts of works of the intellects
protected under Law No. 633 of 22 April 1941 the copyright, as well as any other charges related to the certification of

                                                             7
such media, will have to be paid beforehand, pursuant to Article 181bis of said Law. The illegal use of the works of the
intellects, as well as the non-affixing of the SIAE mark on the aforesaid media will be subject to criminal sanction
under Articles 171 et seq. of Law No. 633/41.

24. Loudspeakers, sound transmissions and other activities
Amplifications and advertising messages are prohibited. The use of audiovisual equipment and sound transmissions is
permitted provided that said equipment does not cause any annoyance to neighbouring stands.
In no way will any preparation of food inside the stands, following the relevant authorisation to said extent, produce strong
or unpleasant smells in any way whatsoever, such as for said smells to spread inside the pavilions.
MIDO's Organising Secretariat may suspend, at its own full discretion, in the manner and for the time it considers most
appropriate, power supply in the stand of the Exhibiting Company that has failed to comply with the above.
Any type of entertainment shows or performances in the stands is prohibited, unless prior authorisation is received from the
Organising Secretariat. The Secretariat reserves the right to suspend performances that are deemed indecent exposure and
that may negatively impact on the decorum and good name of MIDO.
Further information in this respect may be found in Fiera Milano Technical Regulations.

25. Operation of exhibited machines and equipment
During the opening hours of the Show, exhibited machines and equipment may be operated - if in compliance with legal
standards - as long as they do not constitute danger or nuisance and on the condition that the regulations on accident and
fire prevention are complied with, together with the other rules indicated in the Technical Regulations, article 2.5 letters
“e”, “i”, “j”. More specifically, machinery whose demonstration in operation exceeds the allowable decibel threshold,
shall be properly sound-proofed at the Exhibitor's expense. The Exhibitor undertakes all liability for any damage to persons
and things deriving from the operation of machines and/or equipment used in its stand.

26. Dismantling of stands
Upon closing of the Exhibition, stands must be dismantled no later than the date and time set in these Regulations (article
22). Failure to observe this rule will result in Fiera Milano S.p.A. and MIDO s.r.l., which decline all responsibility for the
goods, materials and any other item left in the stand, ordering their removal and warehousing, again declining all
responsibility and at the expense, risk and danger of the defaulting Exhibitor. After two months, those objects which in
the meantime have not been claimed by their rightful owner may be sold at auction and the proceeds, after having
deducted all expenses and costs incurred by Fiera Milano S.p.A and MIDO s.r.l., will be credited to the Exhibitor.
Furthermore, any materials left by the Exhibiting Company in the Fair Grounds are liable for payment of a fee to Fiera
Milano S.p.A. by the Exhibitor for utilisation of the Fair area beyond the dates of the Fair.

27. Protection of intellectual property (see also the «Regulations of the Anti-Counterfeiting Service»)
For each product, instrument, tool, advertising or promotional material placed on display to the public or, in any event,
made available to the latter during the exhibition, whose invention, or ornamental design or utility model is covered by a
Patent (even if the patent application has merely been submitted) or that bears a Trademark and/or whose packaging or
outer packaging bears a Trademark (even if the trademark application has merely been submitted), its protection and
safeguarding under industrial and intellectual property rights shall be recognised and guaranteed for the entire duration of
the exhibition through the permanent Anti-Counterfeiting Service on the Exhibition Grounds. Indeed, in order to allow all
those parties who claim and provide documentary evidence that they are the holders of industrial and intellectual
property rights, the Exhibition offers a permanent Anti-Counterfeiting Service that provides general information in relation
to the content of said rights and how said rights may be legally safeguarded, pursuant to the Regulations of the Anti-
Counterfeiting Service.
The Anti-Counterfeiting Service shall also, as explained in detail in the Regulations of the Anti-Counterfeiting Service and
upon the specific request of parties who can prove that they are authorised to do so and upon the presentation of
evidence showing why action has been requested, immediately search for and locate the elements that are the evidence
of the claimed infringement, acting on behalf of the Exhibition Authorities as well as on behalf of individual participants
and/or Exhibitors; the Service may therefore, by accessing the individual stands at the exhibition with its own specialised
staff, prepare a report and take photographs or obtain other documentary evidence showing the result of its visit, which
shall be placed at the sole disposal of the party requesting the action and that shall have therefore been effectively
present.

28. Compliance with laws, regulations and uses in force (see also the «Regulations of the Anti-Counterfeiting Service»)
The Exhibitor is required to comply with - inside and outside the stands and spaces assigned thereto - all the Laws,
Regulations and Uses in force, especially with regard to the standards relating to staff, and accident and fire prevention.
Most importantly, the Exhibitor is required to comply with all the law and regulatory provisions on the protection of
industrial and/or intellectual property rights: as a result, the Exhibitor shall expressly refrain from exhibiting in public
or, in any event, making available to the public, any product, instrument, tool, advertising or promotional material that

                                                             8
may be an infringement and/or counterfeit and/or copy and/or interference, even if only to a partial extent and form, of
the object of a Patent for invention and/or for ornamental design or for utility, or of a Patent for a company Trademark,
whether already granted or only at the application stage, to a third party.
Notwithstanding the individual right of the party who may prove, by producing the related patent right, that it may take
civil or criminal action, either by way of injunction or ordinary proceedings, under the laws in force, the Exhibition
Organisers, in the event of any judicial ascertainment of the infringement of industrial and/or intellectual property rights,
reserve the right to ban, whether from the exhibition in progress, or from all further exhibitions, the Exhibitor who is
declared responsible for the unlawful acts, whether civil or criminal, due to the fact that, in any event, it has breached
these General Regulations; no indemnity, compensation, reimbursement or refund shall be paid as a result of this ban. The
Exhibitors, within the limits set forth above and in compliance with the restrictions set forth in these Regulations, may
promote the products on display and distribute advertising or promotional material solely inside the area of the stands that
have been assigned thereto. The Exhibitors undertake not to perform any public sale activity whether inside or outside
the area of the stands assigned thereto. It shall also be prohibited to display the price for the goods. Any infringement
of this provision will lead to the infliction of the penalties provided for under these Regulations, including the right of
the Exhibition Authorities to ban the infringing party from the exhibition in progress, as well as from all future
exhibitions. If any public sale activity is verified by the executive staff of the Organizer a fine of Euro 1,000 will be
notified. The Organizer will also evaluate the immediate closure of the booth undertaking the sale.

29. Supervening impossibility of performance
In the event of total or partial impossibility to stage the exhibition due to any contingency beyond MIDO's
reasonable control, the latter is entitled to modify the exhibition schedule, venue and arrangements, and even cancel
the exhibition altogether without incurring any liability with respect to any claim for damages by the Exhibitors. Should
the exhibition be cancelled, the remaining monies, after MIDO Srl has fully settled all outstanding amounts payable
to third parties, shall be divided amongst the Exhibitors in proportion to their respective payments. This shall
not, by any way and/or for any reason whatsoever, give grounds to the Exhibitors to bring any claims for damages against
MIDO.

30. Claims
Any claims must be submitted in writing to MIDO Srl, whose indisputable decision is made in the general interest of the
Exhibition.

31. Other rules and regulations
MIDO Srl reserves the right to immediately exclude from the Show any Exhibitor who has infringed the
General Regulations.
In this case, no reimbursement will be recognised. Any firm excluded from an Exhibition risks not being admitted to
subsequent Exhibitions. In the event of non-compliance with the regulations of general interest (for example, Articles 8-
14-15-20-21), Fiera Milano S.p.A. and/or MIDO Srl reserve the right - above and beyond the foregoing - to apply fines or
penalties.

32. Other rules and regulations (bis)
MIDO Srl reserves the right to establish rules and regulations deemed appropriate to better run the Show and the inherent
services. Such rules and regulations carry the same weight as these Regulations and are compulsory.

33. City tax on advertising
Without prejudice to the regulations governing participation, the Exhibitor is held responsible for payment to the City of
Rho of those taxes which may be levied on whatever is considered to be taxable in compliance with Presidential Decree No.
639 of 26 October 1972. As a result of the agreements reached with the City of Rho in the interest of Exhibiting firms, this
tax is calculated as a flat rate based on the surface area occupied by the Exhibition.
In order to avoid the burdensome procedures which would have to be carried out directly by each Exhibitor, this tax is
included in the 'Participation Fee' and Fiera Milano SpA will later make the relevant payment to the City of Rho.

34. Privacy and Data Processing Policy
Exhibitor's details as filled in in the application form will be processed in compliance with EU Regulation n. 679/2016
(GDPR General Data Protection Regulation). By signing this Regulation, the Exhibitor authorizes the use of his/her personal
details for administrative reasons (invoicing) and for statistic (anonymously) and promotional purposes (exhibitor's list).
The Exhibitor also authorizes MIDO Srl to share these details with MIDO Srl partners (specifically Fiera Milano S.p.A. and
Fiera Milano Media) only when needed for operative and organizational purposes.
The exhibitor undertakes to process the data collected or processed for MIDO (including images, audio and video files) in
accordance with the provisions set out in the GDPR, henceforth holding MIDO harmless from and against any requests or
claims made by third parties.

                                                             9
35. Reference to Civil Code provisions
The Italian Civil Code shall be applied to any provisions not expressly covered in these Regulations.
If any clause of these Regulations is nulls and void, this will not affect the latter's validity and are automatically
understood to be replaced by the Italian Civil Code provisions.

36. Exclusive Jurisdiction
The Courts of Milan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute which may arise.

37. Final provision
The Exhibitor undertakes to acknowledge unconditionally the clauses contained in these Regulations.
Pursuant to and to the extent under sections 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the following clauses are expressly agreed:
By signing these Regulations, through FORM C, the undersigned Exhibitor declares to unconditionally acknowledge, for
