Camp is happening this summer and it’s going to be epic! Overnight experiences
are scheduled all summer at Camp Ehawee near La Crosse and Camp

iConnect is the next generation of monthly meetings for Badgerland's adult Girl
Scouts. Designed with Girl Scout leaders, volunteers and families in mind, these

meetings will be broken down into short sections to make things move quickly,

Renewal Patch Day is April 27!

                        It's time to sign up for another year of Girl Scouts! Girls
                        who get renewed by April 27 earn this free 'We've Got
                        This' renewal patch. Many troops take care of renewing
                        the girls' memberships for the next Girl Scout year; let her
                        troop leader know now that she'll be coming back for
                        the 2021-2022 season.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Member Exclusive Event with Michelle Obama
Girls and adults who get renewed by April 27 will get access to a Girl Scout
exclusive event with former first lady Michelle Obama on May 6! At this
'Becoming Me' program, girls will earn badges, explore stories and who they can
become, and even meet Girl Scout sisters from across the country. Pretty
awesome, right?

    RENEW HER MEMBERSHIP

From troop leaders to cookie coordinators, remember that the adults who make
Girl Scouts so fun and meaningful are all volunteers. They offer up their time,
energy, and talent because they believe in girls and community—because they
believe in the power of girls.

             Nominate Her Troop Leader for a GS Award

If you know a volunteer who has gone above and beyond this year, please
nominate them for one of our Girl Scout Volunteer Awards. Honorees will be
honored at 'On My Honor' (our adult recognition event) on June 23. Submissions
are due May 10.

Community Service & Highest Awards

This Month's Program Spotlight: Team                            Trees!
All month long, you can join Badgerland's "Team Trees" in helping protect the
planet and its inhabitants. Girls will even receive their own tree to plant. Learn
from conservation experts and meet other girls who care about the earth. The big
celebration is happening April 24.

Girl Scout Awards Ceremony
Sunday, April 11 | Grades K-12
Join us in celebrating this year's Silver and Gold Award Girl Scouts, plus our
scholarship recipients. It's one of our most inspiring events of the year!

Highest Awards Preparation Opportunities
Get ready to earn your own Silver or Gold Award with one of these upcoming
workshops. These info & training opportunities occur monthly.

        April 10: Highest Awards Idea Workshops for grades 6-12
        April 19: Highest Awards Chit Chat & Connect for grades 6-12

Tinker Space
Monthly Tinker Space passes give girls access to live, interactive weekly

programming just for that Girl Scout level. Each month girls will work on earning a
new badge AND they'll get to connect weekly with the same girls.

     Brownie Tinker Space: Caring Bee for M.E.! | Tuesdays in April
     Junior Tinker Space: Fuel Up for Fitness! | Wednesdays in April
     CSA Tinker Space: Lettuce Turnip the Beet! | Thursdays in April

GIRL Friday: Forward, Fashion!
Fridays in April | Grades K-12
Design an create sustainable fashion with Girl Scout Cookie boxes and show it off
on the runway! Girls will earn a Fashion Smarts Fun Patch.

Daisy & Brownie Read-Alongs
Saturdays at 8:30 | Grades K-3
Pop by our Facebook page on Saturday mornings and read along with some
community-service themed books.

BaseCamp Discovery Weekends:
Bring the family or troop out for a day of self-led adventure. We'll supply the
campfire + s'mores!

     April 10 or April 11 at Camp Ehawee (Art Alfesco)
     April 17 or April 18 at Camp Brandenburg (Celebrating Earth Day)
     April 24 or April 25 at Camp Ehawee (Celebrating Earth Day)

Our new registration system is officially up and running! All events are listed
by zip code. For virtual events, use zip code 53703 and/or Madison, WI for the
location. Also, make sure the box that says "include virtual events in my search"
is checked.
