HOW TO MAKE A TEE-OFF REQUEST
Chelsea is the automated Tee-Time Request System. Chelsea allows
you to make a request for a tee time 24 hours per day up to
                         7 days in advance.

To Make A Request For a Time By Telephone
You must have a membership number for all players in your group.
Guest numbers repeated are the member’s number.
1. To reach Chelsea to make a request call 941-966-1800 and select
option 4 or directly at 941-237-3758 (inside 2 days).
2. You may call up to seven (7) days in advance. However, the earlier
you call does not mean a priority on times. Two days prior to the
day of play, Chelsea will process all “requests” for play that day
and will assign times based on the golfer’s play history. All non-
equity members will be assigned a play history which is equal to
the median of the play from the prior month.
3. Any remaining times must be issued through the Golf Shop by
   calling 941-966-1800.
4. To change/correct your name in Chelsea, dial 941-966-1800 and
choose option 4 then option 2. Enter your member number plus a
1 for men or 2 for ladies and record your change or correction.
5. Nine-hole times may be requested after 4:00pm only, and Chelsea
will ask if you are walking or riding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I called the computer and it said I had a 10:00 o’clock time…
why?
First, there are 3 sets of tee times available 7:00am to 9:00am and
11:30am to 1:30pm and after 4:00 pm. You may ask for any time,
but the computer will book your request as close to that time as possible.
Remember, requests are processed into actual tee times
2 days in advance.

Why didn’t I get a tee time or close to the tee time I requested?
Tee times are issued based on the play history of the individual. The play
history is how many times a person has played in the last 30 days. The
higher the history, the less likely you will get the time requested. All
transfer members begin their stay with the mean average of the previous
month for their play history.

Can I bring guests if so how many?
You can bring max of (7) of guests, guest are point free.
Guest Groups are placed after members only groups.

How many times can I play in a month?
Usually 2 or 3 times per week.

Why do I start the round on #10 hole?
The computer does the selection of the tee randomly.

Why did I get a 7:00am time when I asked for noon?
Your play history designates when you are slotted to play. The higher the
history, the further away from the time requested.

Can I cancel my tee time and not get charged for a play?
Only if you cancel 24 hours or more in advance of your assigned tee time.
Requests for times can be cancelled up to 2 days in advance of the day
requested through the computer system.

How many points do I get charged for a guest on my history?
Guests are equal to 1 play point per guest round. Weekends are point free.

How long do plays and guest plays stay on my history?
All plays including guests remain on your history for 30 days from
Date of play.

                                      8
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CON’T

Why doesn’t my 4-digit member number work?
To request a time, your member number plus a 1 or 2 must be en-
tered into the computer. (1) at the end Signifies Male, (2) Signifies a
Female. If your number still doesn’t work, we have not been able to get
your name and number into the computer. Please be patient. We will get
the information into the computer as quickly as possible.

If I sign up in the Golf Shop for a tee time, does it count against
my play history?
Yes! (Only Same Day Booking is Point Free)

Why can’t I play 9 holes before 4:00pm?
We try to maximize the play on the course, and the people who want to
play 18 holes get a priority on times.

My tee time is in 45 minutes, why can’t I get a cart?
Sometimes the member(s) or guest(s) coming off the morning round are
a little slow and carts are not available until closer to your time.
Please be patient.

How can I get a handicap flag?
You must show us either a handicap sticker from your automobile, a
doctor’s form or a handicap form from the state.

Do I get charged for 9-hole play if I am walking?
Only transfer members pay a small fee

*NEW—How does the lightning system work?
When the sirens for lightning go off you will hear: Horn, Siren, Horn,
Siren, there is also a strobe that can be seen from the Clubhouse area.
You are requested to vacate the course because a lightning strike has been
detected within 5 miles. If there are no strikes for 15 minutes, the all clear
(Horn Intermittent) will sound and you can resume play.

Do renters have house charging privileges?
Yes, if you are renting for at least 30 days and credit is established at the
time of registration in Administration Office.
