HINDERMANN SUN PROTECTION MAT SCREEN
Fastening to partially integrated parts
Fastening is simple: There are inner pockets in each door area,
which can easily be mounted over the edges of the door. Bungee
cords are included in the delivery which can be attached to the side
mirrors or the wheel housing.

HINDERMANN SUN PROTECTION MAT SCREEN RM.I
Universal version for
integrated motor homes
This innovative sun protection mat with its specially woven, open-
pored surface provides ideal protection against sunlight and
unwanted views, but allows the view from within.
It is placed centrally on the wind shield and fixed to the holder
of the top exterior mirror (see photo), by means of an internal 130 cm
rubber tensioner along the top edge.
For vehicles without top exterior mirrors we recommend atta-
ching the snap-on hooks of the rubber tensioner to the LOXX
press-studs (the bottom part of which can be glued or screwed).
There are four lashing straps with plastic eyelets along the bot-
tom edge. The windscreen wipers can generally be covered up
too or lie on top of the mat as an added means of securing it.
Various rubber tensioners are included as standard. The rubber
tensioners can be shortened with scissors if need be.
Generally speaking, the window matt can also only be fastened
using LOXX press-studs. (For a description of LOXX press-studs
see catalogue page 54 - one pack contains two pieces)

HINDERMANN INSULATION offers two options for
attachment on the passenger side:
a) Attachment with welt tracks
(horizontal and/ or vertical)
The insulation mat has textile welting attached along the top
edge as well as loosely attached textile welting with a very
wide Velcro fastening. The insulation mat is guided into the
horizontally attached welt track. The loose welting with Velcro
fastening is guided into the vertical rail in such a way that the
insulation mat can be attached at the top. (See photos page 9).
The advantage of this form of attachment is a tight seal on both
sides. What’s more, no water (snow) can run behind the mat in
the welt track area.
You can use just one welt track if you like. Welt tracks are not
included as standard.
b) Attachment using five LOXX press studs
which are included as standard with every insulation mat. Their
lower parts can either be bonded to the vehicle (e.g. with Sikaflex
sealant) or screwed in. The advantage of this type of attachment
is its inconspicuousness.
NOTE: The welt tracks or the LOXX press-stud bottom sections
should always be assembled by your local professional LUX-DUO
workshop. Complete list: see page 12 bottom part

Material and design:
The material is a new, weather resistant thermo foil with alu-
minised UV stabilised polyester sheets and all-round enclosed
edges for the windscreen. The front cannot be opened.
Attachment:
An internal rubber tensioner along the top edge ensures a tight
seal and enables quick attachment. There are four lashing straps
with plastic eyelets along the bottom edge. The windscreen 130 cm
wipers can generally be covered up too or lie on top of the mat
as an added means of securing it. Various rubber tensioners are
included as standard. The rubber tensioners can be shortened
with scissors if need be. The rubber tensioners can be fastened
to the bracket of the top exterior mirror (see photo). For vehicles
without top exterior mirrors we recommend attaching the snap-
on hooks of the rubber tensioner to the LOXX press-studs (the
bottom part of which can be glued or screwed) or fastening
the window mat using two adhesive LOXX press-studs (for a
description of LOXX press-studs see catalogue page 54) (one
pack contains two pieces)

for van conversion
Protects the interior against sun, heat and cold. Stops people
looking in from outside.
Manufactured from HINDERMANN Thermo foil, coated on both
sides with an aluminised polyester sheet. The edges are tightly
framed all around. There are pull loops along the top edges.
The mat is attached by means of large quality suction cups, which
have a high level of holding power. These sit in pre-assembled
clip eyelets, which don’t tear out. The suction cups with knurled
head screws are enclosed loose – not assembled!
The insulation mats for the side windows of the driver’s cab are
designed in a way that the outer contours are clamped in the
door rubbers so that an insulating air cushion is created between
the window cover and the window panes!

Colour light grey This innovative driver’s cab insulation are
designed to provide effective protection
against cold and noise in a homely design.
The 3-piece set consists of an approximately 8 mm thick foam
insulation, which is extends to the living area and is covered with
a polyester velour, which creates a pleasant room atmosphere.
The outer surface is coated with an aluminised polyester film that
reflects the sun‘s rays and helps keep the heat out in the summer.

The simple magnetic fastening is a new feature. A self-adhesive
magnetic strip is included for the windshield, which is glued to the
textile window frame during initial installation as a counterpart
to the sewn-on magnetic tape (see photo).
For vehicles without an interior blackout system (W/OB, the door
window mats are also fastened by welded-on magnets.
For vehicles with a built-in interior blackout system (W/B)
the door window mats are inserted between the blackout frame

Thermal curtains for sliding door of Ducato
Increased living comfort in the van through effective
heat insulation with convenient access.
Description: This thermal curtain perfectly fits the door opening
of the Ducato Type 250/290 (model from 2007, variant with
high door opening) - universally suitable for most versions and
installations of individual vehicle dealers. As shown in the example,
the fly screen door can remain mounted, even when the sliding
door is closed! The thermal curtain comes with a shoulder-wide
access. The “flexible door” adapts to the shape of the B-pillar in
the edge area, and clips at the bottom and top ensure a tight seal.
Adaptation options: In some cases, for the initial assembly,
it might be necessary to perform some adjustment work, such as
cuts or cutting off protruding material. For this, the thermal cur-
tains in the edge areas can be cut easily, without diminishing the
insulation function, for example in the area of the wall cabinet.
Installation of the sliding door insulation: The insulation
is fastened along the top edge and in front of the kitchen block
with a few press studs. A clip fastened with Velcro ensures a tight
seal between the kitchen counter-top and the wall cabinet. The
press studs are pre-mounted, the bottom parts as well as assembly
instructions are part of the delivery scope. The sliding door insulations can be folded which saves
storage place
Material: The sandwich structure is constructed the same way
as for the thermal curtain for the driver cabin (see page 18). The

yourself assembly. You can use it to create e.g. window covers,

For caravan and camper van vent windows
The special feature of this newly developed insulation mat is the
side tight closure between the window edge and the vehicle. It is
pulled in to a welt track above the window. Comes with integrated
LOXX press studs for attachment along the underside, including
loose adhesive bottom parts.
The mat can be conveniently rolled up and fastened with 2 tensio-
ning straps (50 cm each, with metal clip). The helios grey exterior
insulation mat is manufactured from a 5mm thick and fully porous
winter-proof PVC foam. The mat remains flexible even in very cold
weather. Along the top side is a textile grip-strip (Ø 7,0 mm), the
other 3 edges of the insulation mat are trimmed with tape.
Due to the lateral padding the outer dimension of the mat is 7 cm
broader than the window size. (Please consider for the welt track.)

The special advantages of

DuPont group in Luxembourg.

of telescopic rods.
Webbing Belts
A special webbing belts system specially adjusted to any size
(consisting of 6 to 8 cross belts for the front and rear area) is
included in the scope of delivery of all vehicle covers.
Replacement set consisting of 4 belts (240 cm) for front and rear
area and 3 cross belts (380 cm) for the anderside of the vehicle.

connect with linkage Gable sections for camper vans and caravans help make the
draining away of water from your protective cover more easy and
prevent / reduce possible puddles. They are suited to each roof
of your caravan or camper van and can also be subsequently
used for previously available Hindermann protective covers. The
gable height of approx. 26 cm is higher than the roof window and
antenna. The 2-part gable section with dovetail joint (precision
component cut using water jet) comprises of solid and weather
resistant PE foam which does not absorb any water. It is assembled
in the central section and always stabilised with 4 foot supports.
Its positioning and the number of spacing sections is affected as

The height of the hood is always approx. 35cm less than the whole vehicle height. Take into account all
protrusions e.g. the bicycle rack. Subject to low measurement tolerances.
35HINDERMANN ROOF PROTECTION COVER
universal for camper vans and caravans
The breathable roof protection covers are universally conceived
for use on a caravan or mobile home. They have an eyelet strip
all aroand, so that the protective cover can be tensioned exactly
according to your needs, with the standard belt system.
For caravan owners, we have also integrated a textile welt on the
right lengthwise side, so that the cover can be pulled onto the
awning rail, and the wind has no chance.
The eyelets used have integrated reinforcement and an anderlying
protective strip, so that the eyelets do not come into contact with
the vehicle.
Due to the adjustable length, you can decide yourself whether
you only want to protect the roof area of your vehicle, or also the
front and/or rear area.
(Safety instructions: designed for stationery vehicles, therefore not
suitable for driving or living operation.)
The belt tensioner is included in the standard scope of delivery!
No metal construction required.
