Short note about the following itinerary: The services mentioned in brackets are referring to the option
Self-Drive Safari! The option Guided Safari includes all services as specified at the end of the
itinerary.
Day 1 :        Arrival at the Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport in beautiful Namibia. Pick
               up your rented vehicle at the airport. Or your ONDESE guide will pick you up. Drive to
               town and overnight in an elegant room with en-suite facilities of the Hotel Heinitzburg
               in the heart of the Namibian capital. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)
HONEY-BADGER SAFARI - 21 DAYS - Ondese Safaris
Day 2 :   Drive north via Okahandja to the Waterberg Plateau Park. You can also undertake
          beautiful walks along this red mountain. Overnight outside the park in a chalet with en-
          suite facilities at the Waterberg Plateau Lodge. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3 :   Early start via Rietfontein to the world's largest meteorite on Farm Hoba near
          Grootfontein. Drive north into the northern Kalahari and through the veterinary fence
          control post into the communal area of the Kavango Regions West and East on to
          Rundu. Overnight outside the town on the bank of the Okavango River in a room with
          en-suite facilities of Hakusembe River Lodge. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 4 :   Today, you drive along the Okavango River and past traditional homesteads via
          Divundu and through the Bwabwata National Park via the Kwando River, Kongola and
          Sangwali to the Zambesi Region in the Caprivi Strip to the edge of the Nkasa Rupara
          National Park and the Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge on the Linyanti Swamps.
          Overnight here in a luxury tent with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 5 :   Enjoy the day with your hosts and the game-viewing drives into Nkasa Rupara
          National Park and the boat cruise on the Linyanti Swamps of the northern Kalahari
          (Self-Drivers have to settle these activities directly.). Accommodation as on the
          previous day.

Day 6 :   Today, drive back through the Bwabwata National Park via Divundu and the Popa
          Rapids to the Ndhovu Safari Lodge on the banks of the Okavango River. Overnight
          here in a tent with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 7 :   Visit the Mahango part of the Bwabwata National Park and book yourselves a boat
          cruise. This little gem of a park is known for its stunning riverine landscape and one
          may encounter game like sable, roan, elephant, reedbuck, red lechwe and lion.
          Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 8 :    On your way back via Rundu, visit the Andara Mission Station. Continue via
           Grootfontein to Ghaub Guest Farm, situated among the mountains close to Otavi.
           Overnight here in a room with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast) Relax
           during the afternoon is the calm atmosphere of this place.

Day 9 :    Drive via the mining town of Tsumeb on to Lake Oshikoto. Now it is not far to The
           Outpost Mushara, which is situated outside the famous Etosha National Park. Enjoy
           game-viewing drives in the eastern side of the park until sunset. Overnight here in a
           luxury tent with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 10 :   Game-viewing drives in eastern Etosha. Large numbers of antelope, giraffe and plain-
           zebra - and the predators that stalk them, and huge, dusty elephants against the
           backdrop of the vast Etosha Pan are characteristic of the days in the park.
           Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 11 :   Drive through the Etosha National Park, while viewing game, to Ongava Lodge,
           situated outside the park in a private game reserve. Overnight in a chalet with en-suite
           facilities. Enjoy the floodlit game water-hole at night. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 12 :   Enjoy your own or guided game-viewing drives in central-western Etosha National
           Park. Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 13 :   Drive from Etosha via Outjo to the impressive Finger Rock in the Uchab valley and
           on to the Damaraland via Khorixas to the Petrified Forest and to Camp Kipwe.
           Overnight here in a bungalow with en-suite facilities. (Fully Inclusive)

Day 14 :   Your hosts will show you the age-old rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, a world

heritage site, the Burnt Mountain and the so-called Organ Pipes and just enjoy the
           stunning landscapes of Damaraland. Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 15 :   Drive to Namibia's highest mountain, the Brandberg, and visit the famous rock
           painting of the so-called White Lady. Continue via Uis and Omaruru to the Erongo
           mountains. Spend the day in this wilderness area with its spectacular views. Overnight
           in a luxury tent with en-suite facilities at Erongo Wilderness Lodge. (Dinner, Bed and
           Breakfast)

Day 16 :   Spend the day with walks, a nature drive and visit rock paintings in a cave. (Self-
           Drivers have to book and pay for activities directly!) Accommodation as on the
           previous day.

Day 17 :   Today, you will visit the inselberg Spitzkoppe and drive through the world's oldest
           desert, the Namib, on to the Skeleton Coast and the seal colony at Cape Cross.
           Continue to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. Overnight in a room with en-
           suite facilities at the Strand Hotel Swakopmund. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 18 :   Enjoy a boat cruise (included) during the morning on the lagoon of Walvis Bay where
           you will see many different ocean-dwelling animals. Spend the afternoon in
           Swakopmund. Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 19 :   Visit the Moon Landscape and the fossil Welwitschia plants in the Namib-Naukluft
           National Park. Drive on through the park and over the Kuiseb and Gaub passes, the
           Tropic of Capricorn, Solitaire and Sesriem to Kulala Desert Lodge on the Tsauchab
           river in the Namib-Rand Nature Reserve. Overnight here in a tented chalet with en-
           suite facilities. (Fully Inclusive)

Day 20 :   Today, it is worthwhile to rise early to experience the light after sunrise over the
           Namib Desert's highest dunes at Sossusvlei and Namib sand-sea. Visit the interesting
           Sesriem Canyon. Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 21 :        After breakfast drive through the Khomas Hochland back to the capital Windhoek.
                Return your rented vehicle and get a transfer to the Hosea Kutako International
                Airport. If you are on a guided safari, your guide is going to bring you to the airport
                and bid you farewell. Flight home.

Concerning the rented vehicle:
Excess Covers concerning the rented vehicles in Namibia – Highest Super Excess Cover:
Super Excess Cover (SEC2): Waives the renter's and/or additional driver's responsibility for the major
cost of repairs in the event of an accident and covers the damage due to water and undercarriage
damage in full. "SEC2" includes the insurance for damage to the windscreen and/or the tyres, rims
and hubcaps. This insurance does not cover any accidents nor damage that occur on a road that is
not suitable or intended for the type of rented vehicle and when no other vehicle, animal or person is
involved in the accident and the renter is found guilty of negligence! In case of an accident or damage
to the vehicle, the client has to pay the maximum of 20% as an handling fees for damages.
Theft Loss Waiver: Waives the renter's responsibility for the full value of loss to the rental vehicle,
vehicle parts or equivalent. TLW does not cover the loss or theft of personal effects or luggage!
At the start of the renting period, the client has to pay an excess deposit of N$ 3 000 plus the stamp
duty fee of N$ 20. This is done easiest by credit card. After the rented vehicle has been returned with
a full tank, the deposit will be refunded to the client in full. In case of an accident or damage to the
vehicle and only if the negligence is on the side of the client, the client is liable for the full excess
amount. The vehicle is equipped with two (2) spare tyres. One additional driver is included in the
rental fee.
         1 - 3 persons: Group 2 =          Toyota Hilux four-wheel-driven vehicle or similar.
         4 persons:        Group 3 =       Toyota Hilux Double Cabin 4x4 vehicle or similar.
         5 - 6 persons: Group E =          Two-wheel-driven minibus or similar.
