                                           The city’s air connectivity has been improving rapidly, further strengthening its
                                           position as one of Thailand’s leading tourist destinations. Qatar Airways has
                                           launched four weekly flights to Chiang Mai, connecting the city with the Middle
                                           East and Europe. In addition, VietJet has launched four weekly flights between Ho
                                           Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Chiang Mai, while various other flight operators have
                                           launched connections between Chiang Mai and destinations including Yangon
                                           (Myanmar), Nakhon Ratchasima (Thailand), Chengdu (Mainland China) and Quang
                                           Binh (Vietnam).

                                       TripAdvisor, increasing 41.0% y-o-y. The recently opened Port Takola Yacht Marina
                                       and the potential expansion of the airport will further bolster the city’s tourism trade.
