Germany

Website:
https://www.krieghoff.com/hunting-guns/krieghoff-hubertus-sin-
gle-shot-rifle/

What is unique about it:
In the long-standing tradition of hunting, a single shot rifle has always
been a very special gun. It stands for beauty and excellent handling
characteristics. To use one in the field often creates moments of un-
forgettable memories. Therefore, we have named our rifle after the
hunting patron St.Hubertus. The Krieghoff HUBERTUS combines
tradition and some new and innovative features. In addition to the
superb handling of the rifle, a most important feature is the manu-
al cocking device which is located on the top tang, in the position
usually occupied by a conventional safety. It allows to carry the
HUBERTUS fully loaded with the hammer uncocked – the safest
position since there is no chance of an accidental discharge.

They are always booked up quickly. He has reserved two places for the
CIC. When Karl-Josef Fuchs passes on his sausage and cooking tricks
and tips with a lot of patience, humour and well-founded knowledge,
time flies by. Learning how to make wild sausage “like a fox” means
exploring goods and spices, learning preparation methods such as
brewing, roasting and smoking, learning interesting facts about knives
and intestines, terrines and the shelf life of the specialties - and of
course the “attempts” should not be missing from the course. The
course lasts from 12 to 6 pm. The CIC participant on the last course
said: “Super much learned! And, only eaten and drunk all day!
Recommendable, definitely!

Starting bid: 2,00 EUR
BIDDING RULES
• It is distinguished between “silent auction” and “live auction”
• During the Hunting Auction 2020 all auction lots, except those
designated for the live auction (to be held online during the
Council meeting on 9 September 2020), are part of the silent
    auction.
• For all lots minimum prices have been set below their commercial
    values.
• No bid can be made neither during the silent auction nor the live
auction below the set minimum price. All bids need to be in Euros.
• BIDS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED IF THE VALUE IS
MINIMUM 10 % HIGHER THAN THE PREVIOUS BID.
Therefore, the system automatically adds this 10% to the last bid.
Of course, a higher bid is possible at any time.
• Bidding for lots in the silent auction starts online on 3 August
    2020 at 9:00 a.m.
• THE SILENT AUCTION ENDS ON 15 September 2020 AT
    15:00.
• Every unsold lot will be marketed by the CIC Headquarters, or its
    delegated partners.
• All income from the auction is transparently used for CIC projects
and its use is supervised and monitored by the CIC Treasurer and
    Internal auditor.

CIC Director General reserves the right to
withdraw any hunt from the auction.
LEGAL
         INFORMATION
Every CIC member is entitled to participate in the silent and live auc-
tion in 2020. By participating in the auction and/or making a bid for
one of the hunts, trips or items on offer, whether before, on, or after the
day of the auction, the participant expressly consents to the following
conditions:

The CIC (International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation,
Singerstr. 1, A-1010 Wien) is only the organizer of today’s auction and
any previous telephone, Internet, or live auctions. However, the CIC is
expressly not the organizer of trips or other services associated with the
auction, and is in no way responsible for the conditions of the offered
items irrespective of whether or not the bid was accepted by the auction-
eer appointed by the CIC. The amount associated with the acceptance
of the bid must be paid to the CIC, irrespective of performance. The
organizer of the auction does not provide any guarantee for the receipt
of the services provided by the individual donors. The winning bidder
(purchaser) expressly waives any claims against the CIC for perfor-
mance, fulfillment, or compensation of any kind, except in cases of fraud
or gross negligence. In individual cases, the CIC may review the issue
and attempt to arrange a goodwill solution to avoid the complications
of a legal claim.

The CIC is merely the voluntary intermediary for the auctioned services.
