 Over 7 years, gas on average was 5.53 times more expensive than electricity
 Note that there were several periods of high gas prices in the past 7 years.
Hydro rates dropped significantly in 2017.
 Total savings: $10985.72

 $43683.03  $53707.36
Conclusion

 Over the 7 year period, the Nissan LEAF was
approximatively $10,000 less to own than the Nissan
  Altima.
 So even if there had been no $8,500 incentive, the
LEAF still would have cost a bit less to own.
 Most charging was done at home, saving at least 300
  trips to the gas station!
 Meeting new and interesting people simply because I
  bought a LEAF: Priceless!
