How does the token ecosystem work?

The AirPod ecosystem is based on two different types of tokens:

1. Payment and Utility token (APOD)

AirPod has integrated its own currency – APOD token. APOD token can be used as an exclusive
payment currency for AirPod rent on all locations, regardless of the currency used in the country
where it is positioned. The cross-border payments are also very efficient, fast and a lot cheaper.
That itself is a considerable market advantage when counting thousands of transactions on a
monthly basis.

It has two main functions: to be used as payment currency for using the AirPod unit, or as an entry
ticket to the Sponsorship Program, where you collect benefits from each AirPod unit as a Sponsor.

The limited amount of tokens
We will issue 250 million APOD tokens with the smart contract. The number of the tokens will be
final. After the Crowdfunding is over and token distribution is completed, the circulation of tokens
(used for payment of rent) starts, and the AirPod ecosystem starts to grow, no further APODs will
be issued.

2. Sponsorship token (each AirPod’s unit-based token)

Each AirPod unit will issue their own sponsorship tokens (10,000 of them). The sponsorship
token will represent the tokenised right of sponsors to participate in returns sharing. Trading with
sponsorship token will be possible only on DApp within the AirPod ecosystem.

SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM &
                 BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
   The Sponsorship Program will be your opportunity to collect lifetime passive income
                           generated by each AirPod unit.

It will start after the placement of the 400th AirPod unit. In order to participate, the sponsor can
exchange his/her APOD tokens for Sponsorship rights after the Sponsorship Program starts. Each
unit will offer 80% of the Sponsorship rights at the start of the program. Those rights will be sold
on a DApp.

Example:
Mark wants to be a sponsor of the AirPod unit in New York’s airport. He decides to buy 4,000
APODNY tokens with his APOD tokens.

When he receives 4,000 APODNY tokens, he becomes a Sponsor of 40% of AirPod unit “NY”, and
he participates in the profits generated by AirPod unit “NY”. He receives 40% of the benefits made
by AirPod unit “NY”.

Sponsorship rights – tradable and rewarding
Recently, a number of new apps have entered the market, offering users a number of hours in a
hotel room. Of course, much like booking a hotel room, this comes with the problems of having
to leave the airport, travel, check-in, and then head back to the airport in time to reach your flight.
When the time and effort is looked at for this option, the realistic approach is that those who would
use a hotel room are much more likely to do so for a whole night given the effort and expense.

Lifetime benefits
Once an AirPod contributor becomes a Sponsor of a specific AirPod unit, he/she receives monthly
passive-income in APOD tokens generated by that unit. Becoming a Sponsor means you got your
Sponsorship rights for an indefinite amount of time or until you decide to sell them. Maintenance
costs on your unit, for example a unit breakdown or replacing the whole pod, are already counted
in the costs.
