• Scorecards – Delivery will begin on August 26 to school site designees.
• Enrollment and Scheduling Scorecards have been combined. If you are
listed as the Enrollment Designee, you will get Scheduling Rules and vice
versa

NewsletterStudent Information Support Branch MiSiS procedures Enrollment – Be sure to always search for the student before you enroll. This will cut down in the assignment time of District ID’s. Scheduling – All elementary students must be enrolled in the appropriate grade level courses at the school of enrollment. Secondary students must also be enrolled in at least 4 courses in the school of enrollment Attendance – Be sure to take attendance for every period the student is scheduled for unless the class has been set for no attendance No Shows – Enter a no show record on the no show screen under enrollment for any student who does not attend on the first day of school. For students who enroll and begin attending after the first day, be sure to first adjust the school start date then adjust the class start date to match.

• September 20, 2019 - Norm Day - (enrollment for teacher counts)
• August 28, 2019 - 2018-19 Graduate information must be in MiSiS to be
counted for the state’s accountability dashboard
• October 2, 2019 - Fall Census –Ref-6906.2, Fall Census for Elementary and
Secondary Schools
• Every district in the state reports student demographics used to allocate
funding, monitor compliance and generate accountability reports on this
day.
• November 15, 2019 - Deadline to have all required CBEDS data
updated/corrected in MiSiS.

• Important dates
• School Experience Survey (SES) October 28, 2019 – December 6, 2019
• Participants – Teachers, School Staff, Administrators at all LAUSD
schools. Parents and students in grades 4-12.
• College and Career Readiness Survey (CCRS) May 1, 2020 – June 12,
2020
• Participants – Students in grades 9-12 only
• Principal’s Portal
• Assign a School Experience Survey Coordinator (2 designees possible) –
• Participants - All school levels.Student Testing Branch
• CAASPP and ELPAC Student Scores Reports (SSRs) are being mailed to
parents
during the summer
• Schools will no longer receive hard copies of CAASPP/ELPAC SSRs
• SSRs are available from the Parent Portal, and the State’s Test
Operations Management System (TOMS)
• Principal’s Portal – State Testing Requirements
• CAASPP, ELPAC, Fitnessgram, and Technology Coordinators
will now be designated in a separate page within the Principal’s PortalStudent Records and Data Management Branch
2019-2020 Application Collection
(Meal Applications and Household Income Forms HIF)
• ALWAYS check the Dash Board.
• Do not photocopy forms.
• Make sure all required fields are completed.
• HIF needs at least one adult and one child listed.
• Enter official District ID (do not use temporary MiSiS ID).
Student Records
• Research student requests before referring students to Student
Record Center (SRC).
• Records must be complete and certified before they can be
transferred.
• Complete the on-line training to transfer records to the SRC.
