Aims & Objectives of the LOVE Actually! Project:
Through “LOVE Actually!” project we want to continue to send a strong message to the
Sighisoara young people, parents and teachers: without acceptance, trust in our strengths,
kindness and lack of self and other's judgment it is very difficult to develop us in a harmonious Health education, especially sexual
and durable way! This project will be the 2nd episode of a previous project implemented on 2020
called Love is the Answer! on which we had 6 volunteers for long term between February – July.

Accepting the differences between people, the
others' opinions and the fact that we can be
everything we want if we are self confident.

Activities to be developed Stage 2 – Sexual Education promo and educational
activities - workshops
The impact we intend to achieve is the information transmitted through health and sexual education activities to be
assimilated and applied in the real life by the target group and spread further through different dissemination methods.
Based on our activities we want to encourage the educational institution to introduce an annual
mandatory optional activity directly connected to the health and sexual education in the school curricula.

What we need in this moment:
To select the international 6 volunteers for the Stage 2
• Young people between 18 – 30 years old
• Fluent in English
Eligibility criteria: • Motivated to get out their comfort zone and discover new things
• Interested in promoting health / sexual education and organize public events/campaigns
• From EU countries ONLY
What do you have to do to REGISTER?
• By email: Send us your CV and a Motivational Letter/Movie Clip explaining why would you like to join our

• In case of 100% interest you will have to fill also the official Application Form which will be sent to you as
reply to your application in both of the previous application methods
• We have 6 vacancies and we will use the rule “first come first served” so the volunteers will be accepted in
the order of their applications … when the 6 vacancies will be full we will close the call
What will you do during almost 6 months in Sighisoara?
• You will become friends with other volunteers
• You will discover our lovely city and the surroundings experiencing the Romanian culture and habits
• You will learn from your coordinators how beautiful life can be and how great is this kind of NGO work
• You will have the opportunity to meet and learn from Daniel from Spain, an EX volunteer in Sighisoara who
loves us and wants to spend more time with us as activities facilitator this time :P
• You will have free time to travel
Specific activities for the project:
• You will organize different activities and workshops for the
promo of a healthy life style and the importance of the sexual
You will be sad at the end that time is passing really fast
education for different target groups
and you still have a lot TO DO on your personal list
• You will support AUM team in organizing the main traditional
annual events
• You will document your ESC volunteering experience and do
Journalistic Activities for the online promo
• You will be able to join different local activities to support the
community development (optional activity)
• You will have extra different types of workshops (team building,
trust, special skills, etc.)
Logistics for the LOVE Actually! Organizational
Project management:
Aspects
Volunteers:
• will be guided in all their activities mentioned before by the 2 coordinators
Alexandra and Florentina and by Daniel as activities facilitator
• will stay in touch with Alexandra 24h till their arrival in Sighisoara, Romania and will get
all the needed information for the pre departure preparation
• will have to give the coordinators a monthly activities report and respect the activities plan decided together
• are expected to work between 5-7h/day, weekends will be free + extra 2 free days for each month
• will sign a Volunteer Contract with AUM Association where will be stipulated both sides rights and responsibilities
• will be accommodated in full equipped rented apartments (3, 4 or 5 volunteers/apartment) and will have all the utilities for free
• will receive a monthly allowance as 150 Euro for food and 90 Euro as pocket money in Ron (Romanian currency)
• will get reimbursement for the transport in the amount of 180 Euro, 275 or 360 according to the distance from their home
• will have free Cigna Health Insurance registered by AUM before their arrival
Accommodation: Organizational
Aspects
Volunteers:
• will be accommodated in full equipped rented apartments
(3, 4 or 5 volunteers/apartment) with sharing kitchen, bathroom and dormitory
• The dormitories will be shared only by the same gender
• Each volunteer will receive 1 set of bed sheets, 1 pillow, 1 blanket and we recommend
you to bring your own towel and any other personal objects needed
• You will have in your apartment a washing machine and support for drying the cloths but no ironing tools
• The kitchen will be basic equipped but with all the necessities for cooking (plates, cutleries, pans, glasses, cups)
• All the utilities will be free of charge if they will be used responsibly
• The volunteers will cover the cleaning products for the house and all the personal cleaning products neededHow to arrive to Sighisoara, Romania: Organizational
Aspects
• Travel by plane to Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Sibiu or Targu Mures airport
• Travel by bus/train from your own country to Sighisoara, Romania (if you don’t like planes)
• Take a bus or train from the airport to Sighisoara (according to your landing hour
we will help you make a reservation for the bus or choose the best mean of transport)
• Once arrived in Sighisoara bus or train station some of our volunteers will pick you up and
lead you to your apartment
• Each volunteer will have to buy in advance the transport tickets and will receive the reimbursement as soon as
he/she will arrive to Sighisoara (180 Euro, 275 Euro or 360 Euro according to his/her travel distance)Expected results of the project:
• 8 Youth Pass Certificates + 8 ESC Certificates
• Elements of visual identity of the project (logo, photo album, presentation movie)
• At least 10 articles on AUM Facebook page
• Workshops and other promo-educational activities in Sighisoara schools
(more than 50 workshops, more than 500 beneficiaries)

Hour, local Fairs, Eastern, 9 May Europe Day, 1st June Kids Day, 12 May AUM’s B-Day, etc.

• During the 6 months in Sighisoara the coordinators Alexandra and Florentina and the activities
facilitator Daniel will take really good care of you and will support you with everything necessary personally and
professionally
• We want YOU to feel part of our team and of our big international family so we will offer you respect,
trust and space to act, we will support your own initiatives and if possible, will make them happen
• We will help you integrate in the local community and will give you hints for the Romanian language
• We will listen you and will try to answer your needs as good as possible
• We want YOU to be our colleague and will get you involved in all our association activities (in case you want this)
• We will have learning meetings and will guide you in the best direction for yourself
• We will have except you 8 other 15 international and national volunteers (10 junior and 5 seniors – with us in
Sighisoara from October 2020)
• We have just one rule in AUM Association:
Nothing is wrong - Nothing is right and AUM Association is the space free of judgement and constraints!
