CONFIRMING GATE NUMBERS
Departing/Connecting Flights
We received a lot of feedback with regards to the email Meagen sent out about
confirming flight information and would like to share some of the great
suggestions we received.
 Always look at the number on the boarding pass, not just the concourse
       letter
 You can refer to your orange lanyard card to confirm what concourse a gate
       is in
 Ask if it is a Domestic, International or US flight
 Confirm the destination, if they are connecting and which airline they are
       travelling with
 If you are a new volunteer or would like a refresher, buddy up with another
volunteer or contact the White Hat Team office to set up a tour or shadow
shift with a GO Team member
If you notice the FIDS screens are showing the incorrect concourse for departing
flights, please notify the IOC (Integrated Operations Centre) at 403-735-1300 x5.

KUDOS
From a Guest
“Three cheers for your magnificent White Hat airport volunteers. We came through
on May 3 from a flight from the U.S. with a two year old. We were disoriented and
wanted to eat and catch the next flight. The White Hat Volunteers were super
helpful, cheery and just a delight for this tired family of six. So please pass this on
and say THANK YOU for making our three hour stop over pleasant!!”
