FAMILY NEWS
As a church we express our heartfelt condolences to:
• Ndumiso & Annie Ncube on the passing of their son Mthokozisi Ncube on Friday
  25 December 2020 at the age of 23.
• Vic Kotze & his 3 daughters on the passing of his brother and their father Rod
  Kotze on Friday 8 January 2021 at the age of 78.
• Naomi Hanna on the passing of her husband Larry Hanna on Friday 8 January
  2021 at the age of 69.
• Elbie Naude on the passing of her husband Pieter Naude on Saturday 9 January
  2021 at the age of 73.
• Nicci Landrey, sister Essie and friends on the passing of Mariza Landrey on
  Thursday 14 January 2021 at the age of 67.
• Cheryl Kleinhentz and sons, Jason & Morgan on the passing of her husband and
  their father Chris Kleinhentz on Tuesday 19 January 2021 at the age of 54.
As a church we would like to congratulate Danie and Lorraine Kruger on the birth
of their son Eli born on Wednesday 13 January 2021.

save the date in your calendar for our Leaders Meeting on Tuesday 26 January,
19:15 for 19:30. It will take place online (zoom meeting). More details regarding the
meeting invitation and the pass codes will be sent through to you. We look forward
to “connecting" with you online!

                          CHOOSE LIFE KIDS
To all our kids… WELCOME TO 2021! We are looking forward to an action
packed, Holy Spirit inspired, Faith target shooting Kids Church year. Although
we are going online, we are not letting any opportunity go to help kids know
Jesus.
• Sunday service: We will be kicking off with Kids Church Online on Sunday
  24 January with a live streamed program from Baobab Hall at 10:00. This
  service will be available on YouTube for your kids to watch at any time.
• Kids Life Groups: We also have amazing LOL (LIFEGROUP ON LINE) groups
  connecting weekly with our kids via different media platforms. If you are
  interested in getting your kids connected please contact us.
• Firestarter Leadership Development training for Grade 8 & 9 students is
  kicking off on 7 February and will take place online at 09:00 every second
  Sunday. The focus is on developing our next generation of leaders with
  discipleship and leadership skills to become leaders at KIDS Church.
Please also let us know if you want to become involved in our KIDS church
ministry. For more info on any of the above please contact us on

                        CHOOSE LIFE YOUTH
We will dive into 2021 releasing the arrow of our identity, passion, purpose
and calling as we look forward to an awesome year at Youth. Youth will meet
on a Friday evening at 19:00 online for an interactive, relationship building
and community forming experience. We will connect mainly on YouTube and
use other media platforms for group connects. Don’t miss out on the
relaunch of Choose Life Youth as some surprises are up our sleeves.
Save the date 5 February at 19:00 on YouTube!! If you are a teen in need of
a group that will encourage, motivate and pray for you while building lasting
relationships, let us know and we will connect your with a Youth Life Group
online. It is going to be A_M_A_Z_I_N_G!

FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
MEETINGS
Please note that due to current restrictions we will unfortunately not have
the following gatherings until further notice:
• Prophetic meetings
• Real Men meetings
• New Membership Evening
• Baptism

FRAIL CARE SUPPORT
We would like to start a section through Point of Care that specifically
caters for our senior members with physical challenges. The items needed
would include: Walkers; Wheelchairs; Mobile toilets; Bath/shower chairs;
Walking sticks; Adult diapers; Linen protectors. These items will be made
available to all seniors who require such aids on a lending basis (except of
course diapers), once the aid is no longer necessary the equipment will be
returned to Point of Care. We would appreciate any support in the form of
financial donations or actual equipment.

DONATION OF BIBLES
Bibles of all languages are in constant demand for outreaches. Would you
be so kind as to donate your extra/used bibles to the Church. Please make
contact with Pastor Phillip at the church office.

CHOOSE LIFE Worship - Love on Fire
Just a reminder that our worship album is available on hard copy for
purchase at the Church Office during the week. It is a CD/DVD Combo and
retails at R140.00. It contains 10 original songs that were written and
recorded by our own worship team.
