URGENT! Nursery Parents/Carers - Don’t miss the Reception places application deadline of Monday 16th January 2023. As attending formal education isn’t a legal requirement until a child reaches the age of 5, ALL families must apply for a place for their child in a school Reception class. Attending our Nursery is not a guarantee of getting a place in Reception. All admissions are handled by Manchester City Council, who use school admissions policies to offer places to families based on school oversubscription criteria if needed. Our admissions policy can be found on our school website. APPLY HERE Please ensure that you include all school preferences, as just putting one school doesn’t mean you will get the place, and it could result in your child being offered a place in a totally unsuitable school. If you need any help with the process, please get in touch with the school office as soon as possible. Support Services We are updating our Support Services page on the website on a weekly basis at the moment, as we want to help as much as we can with families who may need support at this difficult time. There is support on: • Manchester City Council support services • Neighbourhood winter services guide • Guides to keeping well this winter • Links to local support services through the Manchester Care Organisation (including warm spaces) • Applications for support grants • Organisations who can support families with food and essential items • Mental health organisations • Citizens Advice services • Crisis support lines • Medical advice and guidance • Online safety • Adult education services CLICK HERE All Saints C of E Primary School PAGE 5 Culcheth Lane, Newton Heath, Manchester, M40 1LS

Important news for parents and carers Winter viruses and infections such as Covid-19, Flu and Scarlet Fever are making people ill How you can help keep all of us safe
What you can do Keep your child off school or nursery if they have a high temperature. Do not let them go back until they feel better and the fever has gone. Tell your child to wash their hands with soap and water. Get them to cough or sneeze into a tissue, then put it in the bin. If you do not feel well, stay at home. If you have to go out, wear a face mask. If you are ill, do not visit care homes or people in hospital unless it is urgent.
