1 RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the World Sailing Racing Rules of
Sailing 2017 – 2020, World Sailing Offshore Special Regulation, IRC 2018 Rules, OMR, Texel
rules, respective One Design rules and respective Class rules.
1.2 All participating sail boats shall satisfy the requirements of this Regatta Safety Rules based
on World Sailing OSR Category 5 for safety equipment.
1.3 There’s no limit to the number and weight of crew, however all participating boats must
adhere to their registry and insurance.
2 ADVERTISING
2.1 A boat and her crew shall comply with World Sailing Regulation 20 - Advertising Code.
2.2 Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organising authority.
3 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1 The regatta is open to all those boats qualified and satisfies the Regatta Rules and whose
owner and/or Skipper is a current member of clubs affiliated to their own national authority.
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the “Entry Form” and sending it, together with the

required fee to the Organising Authority by the 15 January 2019.
3.3 Participating boats will divided into following classes IRC, PY and Multihull depending on the
entries received.
4 FEES
4.1 Entry fees for this regatta are as follows:
a) Yacht, Multihull & various keelboat IDR5million per boat inclusive of skipper
b) Crew IDR1million per person
Entry fee is inclusive of Indonesia clearances, port & harbor taxes where necessary and

relevant, and inclusive of berthing from 1 January to 3 February 2019.
4.2 All entries must be accompanied by a copy of the boat’s current registry, insurance, MMSI

and rating certificates. Registration will be closed on 15 January 2019 at 1600hrs.
5 SCHEDULE
5.1 Following is the regatta schedule;.

6 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

6.1 The Sailing Instructions with full course details will be made available from 19 January 2019

7 PENALTY SYSTEM
7.1 For all classes rule 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-
Turn Penalty.
8 SCORING
8.1 The Low Point System of Appendix A will apply. A boat’s series score will be the total of her
race scores excluding her worst.
9 RADIO COMMUNICATION
9.1 Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor
receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile
phones.
10 PRIZES
10.1 Prizes will be awarded to the top boats in the overall results in each division.
11 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
11.1 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race.
The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or
death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
12 INSURANCE
12.1 All competitors are required to have appropriate insurance coverage. Each participating boat
shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance.
