Bring your ticket to pick up your goodies. If you’re picking up race packets for your friends, either bring
their race tickets or a signed permission slip (found at the end of this Goblin Guide) saying that you
can pick up their packets.

Vendor Goodies

Parking & Busing

Parking
All event parking will be at El Pomar Youth Sports Park and runners will be shuttled
to the start line. There will be no parking at the start line. You can be dropped off.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AT THE START! No vehicle will have access to the
start area and unauthorized vehicles parked along the side of the road will be towed.
This is for the safety of the runners and to keep traffic flowing for drivers who will
be using the road for regular use.

Busing
Please follow signs when arriving to catch the shuttle the morning of the event.

Half Marathon is a point to point course with the shuttles leaving at 6:30 AM to shut-
tle to the start line. There will be no other busses after 6:30 AM

5K is a point to point course with the shuttle busses leaving at 7:00 AM to the start lin
at Dorchester Park. There will be no other busses after 7:00 AM

Stollers will need to be transported to the starting line through your own arrange-
ments. They will not be able to fit on the shuttle bus.

Ghostly Guidelines

We have a few requests below that will help you have a great time and enjoy a safe
event. Please review the rules with your friends before the event!

     Arrival:
     5K - Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start so we can get you running
     on time.

     Half marathon - Please arrive for the shuttle 30 minutes prior to 6:30 AM.
     there will be no other buses leaving after 6:30 AM.

     Bibs & Timing:
     Each participant will receive a bib with timing chip attached. You must wear
     your bib on the front of your body in order to receive an official chip time.

     Dress Up:
     We highly encourage wearing costumes, matching T-shirts, tutus,
     mohawks, wigs, etc. because it never hurts to spice things up a bit.

     Bag drops:
     Bag drops will be available at the 5k and half marathon starting lines. Here you will put your
     belongings in your bag, write your bib number on it and be on your gohostly way! After you
     are done racing, please be sure to come collect your belongings or they will be donated.
Ghostly Guidelines

Aid Stations:
There will be at least five aid stations on the course. All aid stations will have water,
electrolyte beverage, and candy.

• No alcohol is allowed at The Halloween Half and 5K.
• Animals are not allowed
• Walkers on the right, runners on the left.
• Follow directions provided by security, medical staff, race officials and volunteers.
• Kids MUST be accompanied by their parents at all times.
• Throw away your own trash; please do not litter!
• Strollers are allowed, but will start after all runners have started.

Race Cancellation/Refunds:
A kind reminder that there are no refunds under any circumstances for this event.

The Halloween Half and 5K is typically a rain or shine event. Lightning, heavy rain or
high winds are a couple examples of weather conditions that may result in cancellation
or delay of the event. Please come prepared for weather. You can find current weather
information here. RACE DAY DISCLAIMER: If the race is cancelled due to weather
conditions and/or an act of God or a participant is not able to participate the day of the
event, we regret there will be NO REFUNDS.
