Welcome to the 2021 Danish Festival Wow! Is there really a way to explain the strangeness that has been the year 2020? We are so thankful at the Danish Festival that we were able to have a few small scale events to celebrate our area’s Danish Heritage in 2020, and are very much looking forward to celebrating in person during 2021. As troublesome and trying as the year 2020 has been, looking back we truly believe we have so much to be happy for, happy for community members which prove each year time and time again how we persevere through difficult times! Happy for our business owners who dedicate so much to this small community! Happy for our Danish Heritage which gives us a reason to celebrate the third weekend in August each year! We all know that 2021 will be the year for celebration, everyone deserves a pat on the back for persevering through 2020! We ask that you join us, by taking a look at our community engagement package and seeing if there is anything you would like to help to assist in celebrating with this year! For 2021, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by exploring the Danish way of Happiness. We have so much to be happy and thankful for this year, so we ask that you join us in 2021 and simply be “lykkelig,” the Danish way!
