10. ELIGIBILITY
The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton, BWF
Competition Regulations, and BWF World Tour Regulations.
11. ENTRIES
All entries must be made by using the BWF Online Entry System.
Entries must be submitted no later than Tuesday 18 February 2019 at 23:59 hours BWF
Headquarters time (+08:00 GMT). Players cannot be entered unless they already have a BWF
ID-number. In case you wish to enter players who do not have a BWF ID-number, please
contact the BWF office well in advance of the tournament, so that the players concerned can
get a BWF ID-number before the closing date of the tournament.

Single: 70 euros per player
Double: 60 euros per player per event

12. DRAW
Draw will be made by BWF on the 26th of February, 2020 and then confirmed by the referee.
Withdrawals
Any withdrawal after Monday 2nd of March, 2020, for any reason whatsoever, renders the
Member Association concerned liable to an amount of US$ 250,00 for the inconvenience
caused by the withdrawal (as defined in Section 14 of the BWF General Competition
Regulations).
Any player not showing up at the tournament, without having been withdrawn in advance,
renders the Member Association concerned liable to an additional amount of US$ 500,00 for
the inconvenience caused by the “no show” (as defined in Section 14.1.4 of the BWF General
Competition Regulations).

16. VISAS
After entering player(s) in the tournament it is the Member Association’s responsibility to
secure visas for their players – if this is needed. It is the Member Association’s responsibility
to make sure that visa applications are made early enough.
The Tournament Organizers will do everything possible to enable the entered players to get a
visa.

17. SECURITY
Due to the security plan in France, we must inspect all luggage and bags, and identify all
persons, players and coaches with accreditation.
18. INSURANCE
Participants must arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property.
CLTO Badminton Event will not be offering any financial assistance to compete in this
competition.
19. ADVERTISING CLOTHING
Players are advised that clothing and advertising must conform to the BWF General
Competition Regulations.

DOPING CONTROL Doping control in badminton, in accordance with BWF Anti-Doping Regulations, is conducted out-of-competition and in-competition with the collection of urine and/or blood samples. Athletes are responsible for any substance found in their body. Before an athlete takes any medication, they should check with their doctor, and if necessary, get a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). For more information about anti-doping, please visit the BWF website : https://corporate.bwfbadminton.com/integrity/anti-doping-overview/ 21. BADMINTON INTEGRITY Section 2.4 of the BWF Statutes (Code of Conduct in Relation to Betting, Wagering and Irregular Match Results) relates to anti-corruption and anti-match manipulation, and this code applies to all participants at this tournament. To protect the integrity of BWF sanctioned tournaments, participants are not allowed to bet in any way on badminton matches, respect the principle of fair play, and shall not attempt to influence the course or result of a game or match. Every person has an obligation to report to the BWF any approaches by anyone to gather inside information or to change the outcome of a matches. COMPLIANCE WITH GENERAL COMPETITION REGULATIONS CLAUSE 7.9 GCR 7.9: “In making or authorising entries, the Member concerned is reconfirming its acceptance, and acceptance by the Players being entered, of the BWF’s regulations and Disciplinary processes.” 23. PRACTICE FACILITIES Three training courts and one warm-up court are available at the venue. These courts will be available Sunday, 22 March, 2020 from 10:00 to 18:00 and Monday, 23 March, 2020 from 10:00 to 22:00. The 4 Main Hall Courts will be available for training on Monday, 23 March, 2020 from 10:00 to 19:00. Deadline: Sunday, 1 March 2020 Weight room, exercise bike and steppers to be confirmed. 24.
