LEAF collection, vases and condleholders, 2020

First collaboration with the renowned brazilian
                                                 brand RIVA.

                                                 Luxury by nature

Nature is fragile and fleeting; life comes and
goes; dies and reborn, season after season.
Vases by their function are often used half of
the year to display flowers and lies empty or
                                                 hidden the other half.

The “Leaf” vases are a family of crystal
vases, each one of them holding a metal leaf
shaped part. The metal leaves give the object
an unalterable natural presence, even when
empty. Seated in their transparent pedestals,
the leaves play with light and reflections as
they change along the day, bringing life into a
poetic “still life” composition. And, during flower
season, the leaves will act as a receptacle for
                                                 greeting and showcasing fresh flowers.

These products, by their design, also pay
homage to both Riva’s craftsmanship and the
                                                 luxurious nature of Brazil.

SEKFORD
Watch brand, 2015

Sekford was founded in 2015 to create
                    beautifully elegant dress-watches that are
guided by classic British horological principles.

Sekford defends classic design and haute
                    horology manufacturing values. It pursues
high quality for the many. Not the few. Sekford
watches are lovingly made in Switzerland and
                    designed in Britain.

The full range of Sekford watches are available
through leading retailers such as Mr Porter,
Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and Ogden’s of
                    Harrogate, and directly through sekford.com.

The Swiss made Type 1A is the product of a
                    uniquely collaborative process, inspired by
the artisanal and cooperative approach of
18th and 19th century English watchmaking
                    workshops.
With backgrounds in graphic, product and
watch design, Sekford’s founders drew on an
                    extensive aesthetic and material understanding
in the watch’s conception while inviting master
craftsmen and leading manufacturers to bring
                    their expertise to the project.
Details such as the bespoke numerals
on the dial, produced by Paul Barnes of
Commercial Type, and the Sekford fox icon,
an English Gothic Revival wood engraving
by MarkWilkinson, supplement the Type
1A’s combination of British and international
traditions of watchmaking and design to
form, in the words of horology expert Robin
Swithinbank, “a piece of considered design”.

                      This research explored different techniques
such as embossing or etching to apply some
                      original patterns to the products.
We also proposed insert of various material to
                      decorate the handles.
