GALA 2019
MAY 17, 2019
HOSTED BYHOW IS THE CCGSD LEADING THE WAY? EACH YEAR WE RUN OVER 52 DAY LONG 2SLGBTQIA+ FORUMS, OVER 1750 WORKSHOPS AND ARE ADVOCATES FOR OUR COMMUNITY The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity (CCGSD) is a national anti-bullying and anti-discrimination organization working in schools and communities across Canada. We are dedicated to fighting homophobia, transmisogyny, and transphobia, as well as other forms of discrimination, by educating youth and educators and giving them the tools they need to take action. Every year our programming reaches more than 250 000 students and thousands of educators in hundreds of schools across Canada. The ripple effect of our programming is felt for months after each conference, as the youth we have worked with take action and become bulwarks against bullying and discrimination in their communities. For every dollar donated, the CCGSD is able to reach out and educate one more youth in your community. We were formerly known as Jer’s Vision. THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PINK, BILL C16, TWO-SPIRIT INCLUSION, ORLANDO, MSM BLOOD BAN, GAY SWEATER.. We don't just stop at education, we continue our national work with campaigns that go across Canada & the world. These seek to empower communities to take action and give youth and adults the tools and opportunity to make their community better.
The Gender & Sexuality Alliance Forum is week long forum
