Situation
Potticks House is a handsome listed country house set
in approximately 10 acres of beautiful mature gardens
and grounds. It is situated within the Cotswolds Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty, approximately 1 mile northwest
from the charming Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon. Here

Potticks House
Potticks House was built in the late 18th century by Samuel
Rayner and is constructed of traditional Bath stone under a
Welsh slate roof. The stunning façade has all the hallmarks
of Georgian elegance, with symmetrical lines and a patina of

lime render. The proportions and layout of the house are fine
examples of its era, with high ceilings, generous entertaining
areas and grand features.
The presentation of the house is impeccable, having
undergone extensive refurbishment throughout. Immense
care has been taken to restore the house to an exacting
modern standard, whilst being sympathetic to the historic
features. The entrance hall creates a wonderful sense of

Gardens, grounds and outbuildings
The immaculate gardens and grounds at Potticks House
offer a wealth of mature trees and established herbaceous
perennial borders which complement the house perfectly.
To the south and east is a wonderful terrace, accessed
from the garden/dining room and drawing room. There

spring there are carpets of daffodils, bluebells and other
blooms in the front garden.

rhubarb and a further orchard planted with apples, plums
and pears as well as fig, quince and walnut trees.
The sheltered pool area at the far end of the garden is south
