                Red Cross Swim Adapt
      Red Cross Swim Adapt is a specialized program
     where each individual is worked with at their own
     pace, using personal goals to determine success in
        the water. Along with a regular report card,
      participants will also be given an Adapt booklet.

        Red Cross Swim Adapt lessons are available
       during the Private time slots listed in the Spring
               and Summer Lesson schedules.

        Seasoned instructors trained in the Swim Adapt
     program will be assigned the Adapt lessons. Instructor
     candidates and volunteers may also assist with classes.

           Masks are required in all changerooms. Please check in at the pool office, enter through the Universal
       Changeroom, and exit through the Male & Female Changerooms. Showers are available after using the pool, but

       Lap Swimming: Please follow signage located on the pool deck to pick a lane that is appropriate for your swimming
     style and that has room available. Lap equipment is available for use. Please place used equipment in provided bins to be
       sanitized. Only 1 patron or family unit is permitted in the hot tub at a time. Masks are required in all changerooms.

        Aquatic Fitness: Every fitness class will include exercises that will improve Cardiorespiratory Endurance, Muscular
       Endurance, Muscular Strength, Flexibility, and Stability. Classes may include traditional Aqua Fitness or Aqua Zumba.
       A ‘Par-Q’ fitness form must be completed before participation in classes will be permitted. Participants will be let in 5
          minutes prior to class starting to change and prepare for the class. Participants are not to enter the water until the
                            Lifeguards permits them to enter. Masks are required in all changerooms.
                                        No Aqua Fit classes are available on holidays.

         Bronze Cross is designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training, including an introduction to

         prepares candidates for responsibilities as Assistant Lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills
          and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes
         the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. Bronze Cross is
              a prerequisite for advanced training in the Society’s National Lifeguard and leadership certification programs.
