KIDSTAGE®
SPRING SESSION SHOW - SEUSSICAL
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust
that contains the Whos, including Jojo. Horton faces a double challenge: not only must
he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an
abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton
faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses
faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are
challenged and emerge triumphant. Performers of all ages will be excited to portray the
characters from the familiar Dr. Seuss fables. SHOWCASE location and time TBD.
CAMP KIDSTAGE WEEK LONG SUMMER CAMP - CINDERELLA
Join Kidstage for a week-long camp two hours per day where all KidStage Kids will be involved in acting exercises,
theater games, and will be cast in the production of CINDERELLA that will be performed at the end of the week at the
last hour of camp for parents and friends!

NEST SUMMER SKATEBOARDING LESSONS
Appleton Parks and Recreation is teaming up with NEST
(North East Skateboarding Trust) to offer youth
skateboard lessons! The art of skateboarding develops
muscles, balance and coordination through continued
movement and can be done as safely as riding a bike. Your
child’s skateboarding experience will consist of: 1) learning
skateboarding skills and tricks and building on those skills;
2) skate-a-long time with our experienced skaters who
will provide mentoring and motivation; 3) supervised free
skate time with other children. We maintain a ratio of 1
instructor to 4 participants.
In the event of inclement weather classes will not be
