An Academy is a school-within-a-school
that connects core academic subjects with
a particular career field. An Academy
offers a career path sequence that
prepares students to achieve high
academic standards and superior work
skills. The Academies of Renaissance
Charter School at Cooper City provide
qualified students with a curriculum of
academic rigor, integrated with hands-on
experiences in preparation for future
endeavors in high school and college.ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum ‘B’ Average
• NWEA/EOC/FSA Reading Level 3 or
higher for Health & General Medicine
and Pre-Engineering Academies
• NWEA/EOC/FSA Reading Level 2 or
higher for Pre-Business Academy
• Online Writing Sample
• Exemplary Attendance & Discipline
Records
• Student Application required for
admission due by June 21, 2020
.VISUAL ART ACADEMY
• Students will have access to the latest
artistic tools & techniques
• High School credit for instruction in
2D, 3D, Ceramics, and Digital Art
• Use of professional digital technology
such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
