Service and cancellation fees

A $3 service fee is charged for all reservations, including those made in-person.
› The fee covers the cost of processing the reservation in the system used online and at parks. It is
non-refundable, except when refunds are issued due to park closures.
› There is an additional $3 cancellation fee to cancel a reservation, so it costs $6 to cancel per site per night.
Additional fees may apply depending on the facility and how many days prior to the schedule arrival date that
    the cancellation is made.
› This fee does not apply to equipment rentals, swim passes, special activity permits or entrance fees.
› All prices listed in this document include the $3 service fee when applicable.

Senior citizen and military/veteran discount

Seniors, veterans and military members are eligible for a $6 discount per night on certain
 campsite reservations.
› Senior citizens must be 62 years old or older to receive the discount.
› ID with birthdate or proof of military service or veteran status is required upon check-in.
› The discount does not apply to primitive or group campsites, vacation cabins and facility rentals (discount
applies to marina transient dockage slip rentals at Carolina Beach).
› The discount does not apply to activity fees or permits. Discounted rate for entrance fees to Falls Lake, Jordan
Lake and Kerr Lake is available with proof of age, military or veteran status.

Seasonal availability

› Some campsites, facilities and activities are not available year-round. Please check the park website or contact
the park office for seasonal opening and closing dates of campgrounds, swimming areas, boat rentals and
other facilities, as they may vary each year.
› Entrance fees to Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, and Kerr Lake state recreation areas are charged on weekends in April,
